​Totally get the heat concerns at first glance. FWIW the shell does have vents and an air gapped design to let heat escape naturally. I’ve been iterating designs around the 3 and 3s for a while now. Even went so far to go 8+ hours in a full helmet at Comic Con last year as a proof of concept.
