General Parking
Heading to the ball state game this Saturday. It’s been a few years since I’ve been to a game in Columbus. Where are the best areas to park and around how much will it cost? Go Bucks!

Pshh, nice try, but I'm not giving away my secret spot.
...which is actually mostly me driving around in heavy traffic like a fool until I stumble upon a lot with some space.

I park in an Ohio State owned lot on Ackerman, across the street from the Jameson Crane Sports Medicine Institute. Cost is usually $20-25, can pay with a card.
From this lot you walk up Fred Taylor Dr., past the Covelli Center, Jesse Owens Stadium and through the parking lots next to the Schott to the intersection of Lane and Olentangy River Road. It’s a bit of a walk but the lot offers easy access to 315 before and after the game. No sitting in traffic gridlock.

Free parking on Summit if you don’t mind a walk. I think campus lots are $30+ now.

CAS just north of the Fawcett center. Easy to get in/out. Was cash only last year but they’ve taken cards in previous years, so I’d have both handy just in case.

I have an 81 year old uncle coming. He can’t walk too far without pain. Is there any public parking close for handicap.

call University Parking Services/ most lots are a walk and the crowds will make it difficult for him - can you drop him off close to stadium with someone? Otherwise, I would park farther away and Uber.

2nd this. I went to an away Purdue game many years ago. My gf had just broke her foot and was on crutches. We were able to park in a designated handicap area. They shuttled us by golf cart to and from stadium. That was as an official handicap placard car. If your uncle qualifies, OSU may have something similar. Can't hurt to call.

I always just park at the Carmack lot, I think it's like $30 now. Catch the bus by Rightmire Hall. All the buses go to the same place. The bus drops you off on Coffey rd at the corner by Woody Hayes. Walk across the bridge and into the stadium. Same way out, only reverse. My reason is it's cheap enough but is easy for me to get out of town once the game is over.

Parking garage on 11th and Neil ave, south campus. It’s a short hike to the shoe, but it’s close to Adriatico’s on 12th & Neil for a victory pizza after the game.
