I am looking for an old, forgotten room escape game with a very basic, non-modern interface. The game uses completely static pictures for each scene with zero animations or people.The gameplay is strictly level-based, where unlocking the door moves you directly to the next level. Level 1 takes place in a prison cell with a bed and a window. To escape, you have to find a tool to force the window open and reach the key. Level 2 moves to what looks like a police station. Does anyone remember the title of this game? Would be helpful if you can find something or somewhat related.

Each stage was a battle between two groups/squads of robots — you controlled and strategized one side

A handful of robots per side

Some robots were stationary/fixed in one position; others could move around the battlefield

Robot types included:

A "pulse gun" robot — had a triangular head, fired one pulse shot about once per second

"Kangaroo" robots — showed up on the enemy side in the final stage. Could jump.

Various small robots

Likely a budget/shareware title rather than a big-name release, since I can't find it through normal searches

I'm trying to find a game I played on PC around 2015, but I believe the game itself was older and had an older-looking 3D style. I don't remember the title or many exact details, so some things may be mixed up.

Here's what I remember:

\- It was a 3D third-person game.

\- The protagonist was some kind of knight/warrior, but he didn't have the stereotypical heavy knight armor. I remember him wearing blue clothing, possibly a long coat.

\- I vaguely remember his hair being black or possibly white/silver. I'm not completely sure about this.

\- He had a distinctive white horse that seemed to be his personal/unique horse.

\- I remember being able to whistle/call the horse back if you got separated from it.

\- I also vaguely remember that if you lost your horse, you could mount an enemy's horse and use it as your own, or something similar.

\- The character had some kind of dark magic/supernatural ability, which I remember as being dark purple/black.

\- I believe the game involved fighting an army or large groups of soldiers. I can't remember if the protagonist had his own army/allies with him.

\- The game seemed to take place in a medieval/fantasy setting.

\- One area/level I remember had a lot of green grass, shallow water and fog/mist, and there were ruins or something resembling a ruined temple/maze.

\- I never got very far in the game, so this may have been an early level.

\- I played it around the same time as some older PC games, so I'm pretty sure it wasn't necessarily released around 2015.

The game had a somewhat old-school 3D fantasy/action feel.

I know some of these details may be inaccurate because this is a memory from years ago, but the white horse, blue-clothed warrior, large army, ruins, and foggy grassy/watery environment are the things I remember most.

Does anyone recognize this game?

So, this will be a long shot (pun intended).

There was this PC game I got somewhere off the internet way back in 2006 (but the game probably is much older, I used to scavenge abandonware and similar stuff).

It was a golf game that had a top-down view, there was no player character, just the ball and the interface. It kind of had a Microsoft Ski vibe in how spartan it was.

It did not feature a minimap, if I recall correctly. It's closest in gameplay to what HAL's Hole in One Golf was for the SNES.

Estimated year of release: ~2002–2006

Graphics/art style: Fully 3D, decent quality for the time. A single-colored checkerboard/grid-tiled platform floating in space, whole board visible on screen. Balls are colored — mainly blue and green.

Notable gameplay mechanics:

• You control a ball that can jump and moves freely in real-time.
• Enemy balls start lined up in a formation on the far side; you start alone at the front.
• You push/knock the enemy balls off the edges of the platform.
• Your ball grows bigger and stronger with every collision/knock-off, until you're the last ball on the platform (agar.io-like, but 3D and years earlier).
• Power-ups: change ball size (big/small), different colors, make your ball bouncy/rubbery, and some balls push harder than others.
• The side walls/barriers change from level to level.

Other details: It was bundled on multi-game compilation CDs sold in the Gulf/Middle East (a series called "Golden Eagle / النسر الذهبي").

I was living in UAE Sharjah, I don't remember the exact year but it was 2010's, I had a KFC game CD and I used to play it on my laptop. I don't remember it exactly but it did have "Chicky" mascot or something and I am pretty sure the game had fried chicken or something. I tried to find it but couldn't (it's not one of them sports games) it was a standalone game CD not a full series CD. I don't remember if I got it with it but I have KFC gloves (cricket wicket keeper) as well (maybe I got it with the CD or maybe it's from a different time).

My first PC was a 386. Prince of Persia was probably the first game I played on it, even though I think it could run on a 286 too.

I used to mess around with all kinds of stuff on that computer. I tried making an adventure game in some DOS game editor, but I have no idea what it was called anymore. I also spent hours drawing in an old DOS paint program. Basically prehistoric Photoshop.

I always wanted a sound card, but for a long time I was just happy to have the PC speaker. My favorite game back then was probably UFO: Enemy Unknown. I also remember a Star Trek game where you fought in space, but visiting a planet turned it into an adventure game.

The stupidest thing I remember was playing Warcraft 1. Our speaker had no volume control and the swords clashing during fights were way too loud. So I put a pillow over the speaker on the floor and held it down with my foot while playing. It actually worked lol.

God I miss those days sometimes. Everything was limited, but somehow one game or a random program could keep you busy for weeks. Anyone else have weird PC memories like this?

The game was a top view type of shooter where you are a lone survivor of somekind of crash and you have some tasks to complete. The game was basically a gory alien shooter where you had to constantly check ur equipments, ammo etc etc. i remember it as a dark themed game with sci-fi green UI and HUD. I don't remember much (since i was 5-6 when i played it) but it was definitely a gory mess of a game. I think we were some kind of a military officer or spec ops or something. The game had mix of pixel style and 3d (idk any other way to describe the art). Help me find this. Thanks

This game has a weirdly generic title "play&think". It's from an ancient, now defunct company called compedia games. They made educational games for kids back in the day. Recently i have found where i put the old dvd' but i can't get them to work. Here is a screenshot of the contents of the disc and the files i get when i run setup.exe. It worked in win xp back in the day but the compatability mode didn't help.

Hi, everyone!! I have been looking for this game for a couple weeks and I’m starting to doubt my sanity. I believe I used to play this in the early 2000s. From what I can’t remember is that it was a standard golf game, i’m almost sure it wasn’t minigolf, but you could choose toonish characters (?) also I have a vague memory of like a demon that “ possesses” the golfer lol like it would go inside the person as a sort of punishment I guess for playing bad or maybe you could fight between characters(?). So based on that animation, I believe that it’s kind of a goofy golf game.

I have looked everywhere and AI doesn’t help.

I have been stumped by this game for years. I joke that maybe I will remember it on my death bed! All I remember is it was CD ROM point and click game that was broken into 2 different age ranges. Younger kids and older kids. It was a similar art style to Putt Putts Adventure and you clicked through to different pages for a different part of the map. The only level I remember is a scienced based mini game where there was a tree casting a shadow and you had to place the sun in the correct position to create the shadow. Please help me!
