Thank you! I’m proud to have inherited so many of her features. She’s a rockstar. It breaks my heart seeing her age. I love her very much. ❤️

Not often I’ll comment on these pictures but your grandmother is stunning. A beautiful picture of a beautiful woman.

u/idahohotato Feb 23 '26
She’s gorgeous. I plan on doing a photo shoot with her, my mom, and myself this summer. We all look like copy’s of each other. Grandma is the prettiest though ❤️

Well please share it when you do. It’s always interesting to see generational photos and I’m sure you’re being too hard on yourself. We’re always our harshest critic and the apple never falls far from the tree as they say.
Anyway, looking forward to seeing it if and when you choose to post it.👍🏻

Aww!!! I love myself a lot. I love myself for everything I’ve been through and survived. I’m a stark image of my grandma, and my mother. Can’t wait to send a pic ❤️

She is very beautiful, but what captures my attention is that she looks sweet natured and so sincere. All the best for her!

Keep loving her, and learn as much as you can about her past. I’m 66 and do my best to tell my “grandsweets” as much as I can about the past. She truly looks like a movie star! The very best to you and your dear grandma!

I love her to pieces, my heart hurts, she just had hand rails installed at her house because she is weak. You’d never know it until she starts walking because she’s so beautiful and healthy looking. I cannot imagine the day that I don’t have her. ❤️ thank you for your heartfelt comment.

She’s aged remarkably well.
No argument, she’s stunningly beautiful, apparently at any age.
She should be overjoyed!😁

Was she in an episode of leave it to beaver? Seriously looks like a girl Wally went out with.

u/idahohotato Feb 23 '26
She wasn’t, never did any acting. Leave it to Beaver, what a sweet flashback. Thank you ❤️

Her gaze is so compelling. There's a fierceness but also a softness. So stunning.

My Nonna was around the same age in the late '50's!! She showed me her senior photo and, man. The class and hairstyles they had back then 🥹 I looked a mess in highschool, I can't imagine being that pulled together like they were.

Women these days use filters and fillers to look as good as your grandmother!
2
u/GhostlyHauntings Feb 25 '26
They used filters, airbrush, and other means of photo editing back then too. It's been happening once portrait photography became more popular. You should check out the history, its fascinating.
Photo editing or not, her grandmother is beautiful.

Some people age well
Our mother lived to 89 years old, and people would remark at how smooth her skin was.
She always tanned when we were kids.

u/NVMBRS_FINEST Feb 25 '26
My mom and her twin sister were born in Idaho. She has always joked that everyone called her adopted cause they look nothing like her family. Your grandma looks so much like my mom it’s crazy!

She has a strong face that would age well. Not like one of these cut & paste faces today.

She is stunning! You can tell she has a wealth of class, determination and strength. With everything life has to throw at you, she has had the ability to overcome it all. May God continue to bless and keep her and may she continue to shine!
