Jupiter Compilation

I miss this old man.. this is definitely not all the videos but it's a decent little compilation I put together so that I can free up some space on my phone. He was such a good boy. I miss him all the time.

His head is so big and fluffy (or was anyway). What a sweet face. I hope he made it to 2 years old. It’s sad that they don’t live much longer then that if they get to even hit the 2 years old mark.

He made it to about two and a half. We definitely extended his life significantly after getting him in heart meds and providing him with some extra mental health stimuli by going outside and all that and stuff. I do miss his big head and his sweetheart. Genuinely a massive crime that they don't live longer.

Sadly, we only had him for about a year and some change. The first year of his life was spent with his original mom who had him since he was a baby but she couldn't properly care for him anymore. So did her due diligence and decided to give her baby to me!

His little lights look great.
I don’t know if this will ever apply to possums, but when I was doing rabbit rescue years ago domestic bunnies had a fairly short lifespan. As the years went by and vets learned more about them their lifespan increased to 10-12 years. It now may even be longer.
Their estimate of life in the wild was 1 year maximum.

I loved Jupiter and always looked forward to the posts you made of him. I still sometimes pull up that video you posted of him dragging the plastic bag in your room. It’s so cute and hilarious.

It is a crime how short their lifespans are. Same with jumping spiders. Far too short. Just long enough to get attached and have your heart broken.
