Lesbian single mom considering moving from Buda/Kyle to Circle C next year for the schools. Any LGBTQ+ parents raising kids there? I’d love to hear how inclusive the neighborhood/schools feel—or if there are other high-performing schools in more LGBTQ-friendly areas.

Hi! Driving to Austin tomorrow and would love to be conveniently located to the parade a/o any Pride festivities.

• Looking for hotels on Congress I could book that might also have rooftop parade viewing events (I can find the hotels obviously, but if anyone knows of any events lmk!)
• I’m female and 40-ish, so not looking for wild parties full of college kids
• Will likely be traveling solo. Taking a haul to my daughter who just moved to ATX but I don’t think hanging with mom during her freshman year Pride is on her agenda tomorrow 🤣

pretty much what the title says. i myself live in new york but my partner lives in austin, and she really needs to find a therapist. she deals with a lot of family issues and does not live in a very friendly household that accepts her trans-ness or understands her autism. her family does have insurance though. she is very okay with virtual appointments, and even prefers them.

i hope this is okay to post, as i myself am not in/from austin, but i am asking on behalf of someone who is.
