Hi so I saw blizzcon rewards are coming 10 sept and i’m basically new to this game; I saw on tiktok people opening 10-15+ ow dropboxes on the event and I wanted to know how can I get them? I want a Lucio skin and so far I’m informed those are like exclusive? the ones you get ln blizzcon, so I wanna know how can I like maximize my rewards?

Can i leave my pc with yt open while im sleeping and still get them? where can I link my account and how can I reclaim my rewards?

Can I leave twitch and youtube watching and get double rewards? how are this people getting so many lootboxes

just be sure to start watching the stream when it starts cause the timings can be tight. I have lost the lats reward many times because i started late

For youtube yeah, but on twitch usually they let partnered streamers have these drops on as well for the next few hours after the official streams ended. And they'd usually even do rebroadcasts on the official channel a few hours after that.

But those are the esports drops, maybe it'd be different with this one since those streamers are probably going to attend the Blizzcon irl

Unless they fixed it from what I've heard YouTube drops are broken (semi related before they were broken I was never able to get the double dipping to work anyways. Personal thing since clearly some people were getting it to work) edit: as stated below it appears the YouTube drops were fixed so you should be able to double dip

I got Youtube drops from this past Calling All Heroes event at the weekend so I think they should be fixed (hopefully) from now on

If you're seeing people opening boxes already, it wouldn't be for the upcoming event, as it is not active yet. You're probably seeing them open boxes for the meka mania event.

I always get my drops from Twitch, and I have never had a problem. The first thing to do is make sure you have your Twitch linked to your Battlenet account. You can link accounts through Twitch. Then, once the drops are active, you can leave your browser open, and it will count towards your drops. Normally, what I do is leave my browser on the steam and play Overwatch, do stuff around the house, eat, watch the stream, etc. I'll check in on the stream every now and again to make sure I'm still making progress towards the drops.

While you're watching a stream on Twitch, you can click on your Twitch profile picture. A menu will pop up. There is an option that says, "Drops & Rewards." That will show you all the drops and the time you have accumulated/progress for getting each drop.

15 boxes ingame u get by doing daily’s. 4 on twitch and 4 on yt from the 12th to 13th. Total of 23 if u get all, just pulled Zen nakji on first and now I still have enough to get one more guaranteed legendary, we are eating good this blizzcon ngl

Pretty sure watching both YT and Twitch and getting double drops has been fixed. Can't confirm though.

I use my old phone to get the stream drops. I always use twitch. First you need to have your twitch be linked to your Battle net account. Then get on the stream on the specified time and just leave it on. You need to keep your volume on. You can keep it super low same with your screen brightness too.

You also get lootboxs from events and playing 36 games weekly.

You can idle on the stream, but you can't get two sets from having YT and Twitch open. At least, I've never been able to do it. YouTube drops can be really unreliable, so I'd go with Twitch instead. Twitch also has co-streamers who provide drops and will often run past the airing of the official stream, which helps if you haven't progressed through all your drops. Another tip: if you're going to mute the stream, mute your tab, not the Twitch volume itself.

As for people opening tons of lootboxes, they're probably just not opening boxes individually, saving them up, and then opening them up at the end of a season before they're automatically opened when a new season begins.

Okay, first things first, most videos you see are from people playing a lot and earning lootboxes that way. We recently had an event that gave us a couple of 'em, and by leveling heroes up you get some more.

Any time you see "Viewership Rewards", you get what you see there. These will be 6 boxes. Nothing more.

You should also know that many of the videos online of lootboxes being opened are from way back in the day, where they were easier to get.

As for what to leave open to farm the rewards, I'd reccomend Twitch. Look up how to connect your accounts. You cannot get the rewards from both platforms at once.

Until the past few OWWCs this was not true. I've been double dipping all of OWCS. I simultaneously watch twitch on one device and YT on another and always double up the loot boxes. Not sure for Calling All Heroes as I was unable to watch this past weekend.
