Weight

I am currently 165 and 5”2 is it possible to loose at least 15 pounds by November? Currently taking oral birth control for my pcos I don’t know if that will slow down my progress. Any tips or recommendations?

Losing 15 lbs in in 8-ish weeks is not possible if you’re doing it the “right” way. If you made really unhealthy, unsustainable nutrition choices, then MAYBE, but can almost guarantee you would gain the easily back.

Losing 5-10lbs in 8 weeks would be hard but more likely.

You need to track your macros (focus on getting enough protein, like 30g a meal, and fiber, shoot for at least 25g of fiber) and generally be eating in a deficit of at least 200-300 calories but no more than 500.

You need to also prioritize sleep, 8 hours a night, and getting in some form of movement (even just going for a 20 minute walk after eating is really helpful if you have insulin resistance, which most people with PCOS have).

Seconding this. You can likely safely lose 1 lb a week OP. Bit you need to be very stick about CICO focusing on macros

Why the rush? Making sustainable alters in diet and exercise is a better way to go

15 pounds on the scale is a TALL order. Is the number on the scale what’s most important or would you be happy ‘looking’ like you lost 15-20 pounds (even though the scale says 10)?
