In progress PC freezing after startup

Post image

Right so I’ve just built a new pc (slightly). I’ve gotten a new case, fans, aio and a new gpu. It’s finally working however every single time I boot up the pc, within a few minutes it will just freeze randomly and show these small little rectangles/squares of white or black pixels.

Now you might say it’s the gpu however I was using just yesterday in my old case just to test it and I did the driver updates and everything.

Anyone got an idea on how to fix?

Everything is new other than the gpu

can u put it in another system and see if it has the same issues?

I mean it’s possible I could bring it to a friends house but other than that I don’t personally have another system 😭 I’ll let you know if I do though

when did u buy it?

Only bought it a couple of weeks ago, also realised the problem could be to do with how tight my cpu cooler is

No it’s definitely the gpu
Artifacts are caused either by ram or GPU
I’m gonna stick to my GPU suspicion unless u can tell me how u bought it used aka its a good friend who won’t screw u or u tested it extensively before buying etc etc

To be fair I got it off eBay used but they never actually used it in a pc, I just don’t see how yesterday it worked perfect for hours and now it doesn’t. Especially when I haven’t change any proper hardware parts like motherboard ram etc

This may seem stupid but it may be that wallpaper I’m using

Wallpaper could explain the artifacts but not the lag
U mind if I take a look at it?

All good now, the errors were to do with lian li Lconnect software interfering with other things for some reason and I’ve deleted it now and it’s fine

Gpu is eating itself. Could be bad voltage or bad cooling. It could be the slot as well. But is probs heat
