I knew our bat population was wiped out a few years ago due to a disease (of which i have forgotten what it was called) and we didn’t have any bats left on the island.
I was driving an early morning this week and i’ve seen at least two bats flying over my car?!
Is there now a bat population that i am not aware of??

I'm researching options for a dock or slip installation at a small pond, but I can only find two suppliers on the island: East Coast Docks or Down East Docks. Surely these can't be the only two!? They only do floating HDPE docks as far as I can see. Are there any contractors or suppliers that do aluminum or wooden pile docks, wooden floating docks, or cemented slips?

Would anyone know where I could purchase a shipping container, preferably 40' in length, that would be suitable to store a vehicle?

I'll be having a proper shop built, but in the meantime, I'll need a place to store some yard equipment and a small SUV.

It doesn't need to be exactly as the picture, but some extra features, like a man door or roll up door might be useful.

Any advice is appreciated.

GR of Fine Line Finish and flooring recently sold metal roofing materials on Facebook marketplace that he stole from my property. The photos of the roof on the facebook post show the metal roofing installed on my house. I have reported this to the RCMP and they refuse to take action even though I have provided them documentation that these materials were paid by me. Robichaud had the materials in the front yard of his house for anyone to see. This is fencing and a crime. If you purchased these from GR you are in possession of stolen property that need to be returned to me. Buyer beware!

Hello! I’m visiting the island for the first time next week for the Sommo Festival and was hoping to get some advice on the transit system. I don’t have a driver’s license so I won’t be able to rent a car, and I’ve heard there’s no Uber on the island.

What other options are available for getting around? Are there taxis or shuttle buses that I can schedule ahead of time for pickups and drop-offs?

I’m also hoping to explore Downtown Charlottetown the day before the festival. I'm staying at the Baywatch Lighthouse and Cottages, so I’d love to know the easiest way to get from there to Charlottetown and back without a car.

I'm thinking about cutting my long hair to donate for wigs. I'm wondering if there are any salons or stylists that do these cuts for free or a discounted rate.

I donated hair in the past and the stylist did the cut and style for free. I don't expect that to be the case over 15 years later, but am curious if there is a place (preferably in the Charlottetown area) that does this.

i know this is old news but fyi i know this guy, i’m not defending this sick pos whatsoever, i don’t know his family or never even heard his voice but we used to have each other on socials for a while until i saw that he suddenly disappeared off socials this summer, i don’t know if he got arrested again but i wouldn’t be surprised if he did, i heard that he was really suicidal but i’m not sure if he’s dead or not, i was honestly so shocked to find out that he was talking to hundreds on young girls including the girl who got him arrested, he’s so disgusting for doing that (mind you i also know the girl who got him arrested, she lives in my town)! cole has a disability (i’m pretty sure he has autism) i also heard that he had a very bad speech impediment and was bullied a lot as a kid. i only came on here to make this post to see if anyone knows this guy or if anyone has any updates about him, but i’m still not defending this mf as he definitely deserves to get punished for his terrible actions, dude wore a maga hat in the university he was supposedly going to for god sakes 😭, the fact that his church also defended him was just absolutely mind boggling, gosh there’s so many predators out there parents hug your kids tight you never know who ppl truly are :(
