What an absolute nightmare. :'(

The actual clip was fairly longer, so I could only clip a part of it. But overall, to sum it down… Morad Vaisi from Iran International mentions that, after the long and vile crimes of the Islamic Republic regime, Islamic parties, masjids, and Islamic teachings will be completely banned by the general public, especially after recent incidents. He also brings up whether banning Islam (its teachings, parties, and leaders) would be anti-democratic. Morad says it would be like post-WW2 Germany, where they banned all N*zis (in our case, it would be mullahs/Islamic ideology), and that the N*zis were basically the exception to democratic freedom of belief because the ideology itself opens the hole for democracy to fall!

NOW, the 2nd guy in the video speaks against this and says it shouldn’t be banned because it would cause some Muslims in Iran to be more radical and extremist and that could cause trouble! Also that this would lead future generations, many years from now to forget about what happened with the regime, and history could potentially repeat itself. He believes that masjids should remain open and Islam should be freely spoken about and accepted AS LONG AS the public is fully educated and knowledgeable about how Islam came to Iran (which we all know didn’t come to Persia with hugs and kisses—it came in a brutal/horrible way). He mentions that people must be taught what kind of people Islamic prophets and leaders were like Hussain, as well as the crimes they committed, etc., etc. Basically, in short, his argument reminds me of cigarettes in a way… it should be completely legal for those who simply want to use it as its their choice/right but the public should be educated in schools and through warning labels about its risks!
