Black dog

I feel like om in a Harry Potter novel. There is a black dog that has picked me out to bother. Doesn't belong to anyone I can find. Likes to low growl and herd me. Then once I'm cornered etc, it's personality changes with no menace and it leaves for a while after hiking his leg
