my kineticist is around 200 fire res with max chaos res should I drop chaos res to push fire res higher never try with low chaos res will it often die

I don't see why you would have to drop chaos res, should be room for t1 chaos, T1fire, T1 hybrid on multiple peices. It will die more often without max chaos res, yes.

Helm t1 accuracy, fire res and abyss socket. Gloves attack speed, fire res and abyss socket. Boots fire res, lightning or hybrid res, abyss socket. Body armour is onslaught on hit, res and abyss socket. Belt is fire res, lighting or hybrid res

There is basically only space for 1 or 2 hybrid chaos res rolls on end game gear

Honestly chaos res is whatever. Optimal suffixes on rare armour piece should be:

Abyss socket, t1 fire res, fire/chaos res (crafted or veiled - depends on budget)

That would be helmet, gloves, boots. Body armour bis without unblinking eye should be overcap lightning, abyss, t1 fire res.
