Probably has been discussed to hell, but I'm currently on Rue's budget aura stacker luminary. I crafted the +2/+2 helmet and was about to buy the ff jewels, but I'm having second thoughts.

The aura stacker version afaik is almost entirely crit reliant. This is extremely apparent, because crit resistant rares are about as tank as Uber sirus for me. It's kind of annoying because it's a rare mod and not a map mod so I can't just avoid it.

Would life stacking with flamelink be better at the ~100-200d budget? Say with basic nyctas/monarch/kaoms heart/red dream and capped enmity on my merc, should I expect better/more consistent output compared to an aura stacker at this budget?

On a sidenote, how much better is a Kineticist compared to a combatant? I'm sure it has better clear, but how much worse (if any) is the single target? Currently it feels like my combatant is constantly lagging behind me and can't really move/attack fast enough to keep up (I have a mageblood with quicksilver), but at the same time I don't want to sacrifice too much single target.

I really wanted to play Luminary because I keep hearing about how it Roflstomps all content but I'm struggling.

I understand I still need some expensive gems like Adorned and Foulbourn red nightmare. I'm also saving for a Kingmaker. And I still have a some more leveling to do. I'm not expecting to do ubers yet but I am expecting to do T16 8 mods easily and I can, except for the map bosses.

I'm trying to figure out if I've built it wrong (i'm trying to follow CaptainLance's build guide as much as I can afford to) or if my Merc is terrible and I need another? Or something else?

I have a level 99 reliquarian that I played and farmed some currency with. I have about 1800 divines and a Mageblood on my character and some more coming in through sales.
I wanted to test a merc build before quitting the league and was wondering which setup to go for.
I know the classics kineticist or manyshot. But a gg merc is about a mirror for either variant.
What other fun mercs are there to play around, a cruel mistress maybe? I want an allrounder character that can do it all, basically.
Also open to merc being an aurabot for me if that works out.
What have you guys found that’s fun and interesting?

I was trying to figure out why some people use Large cluster jewels for Golems (Prim. Bond) and some use an Elemental damage with bunch of %inc Ele and utility (resists, etc.).

Don't Golem one gives both damage and defense? Is the build elemental resist starved so you want Prismatic Heart?

I play SSF and farmed up everything I need (Maven wand, Aegis, Astrolabe, crafted influenced gear), but for the love of me, I can't figure out Large Jewels.

For Medium Jewels it is very straight forward (Herald effect stacking).

I don't have a lot of time to play games, so I just sort of want to play through the story and enjoy some combat. I'll see how my playthrough goes, maybe I'll try some endgame stuff.

I tried looking up builds on YouTube but they all look like Vampire Survivors with extra steps. You run around the map with sunglasses on to reduce the likelihood of seizure. I'm cool with some AOE, but I would like to sleep sometime this week.

To compare to Diablo 2, a game I knew too much about 20+ years ago... I really enjoyed playing Berserker, Zealot Paladin, Bowzon, Martial Arts Assassin, and Bone Necro.

Does anyone have any resources for something like this? Even just some ideas and direction would be super helpful. Like key passives to unlock and I can fill in the gaps.

ETA: I'm new to PoE so I won't understand your mumbo jumbo terminology lol. I do have hundreds of hours into other ARPG's though like Diablo.

I'm currently playing 3.29 and I'm playing as a void Shockwave cyclone boy. I'm doing duelist slayer and occasionally I'll get 1 shot. Sometimes from random mobs but mostly from bosses. Typically I have no problem doing nightmare corrupted maps apart from the bosses (im still learning).

I really don't know how to get more tanky without spending 150div on singular upgrades. Please helppp:)

I mainly use cyclone and swap it out for cyclone of tumult for bosses.

I'd never played CWS builds before so I looked into them this league. I get the best is Emiracles CWS Chieftan - everything on that build makes sense. Glad is the second choice because of the lucky block.

But looking back I found an old 3.23 CWS necro with cremation of exhuming using black zenith and was wondering if anyone has any wacky/meme ideas for the CWS concept. I'm in the meme building phase now so it can be a flawed idea as long as it sounds fun.

My own thoughts was using tainted pact and divine flesh so you're immune to elemental/chaos dot while leeching, but generating leech instances long enough is the first problem I came across.

Anyone got any off-meta interactions that could work with CWS?

I am dying 3-4 times on maps while farming strongboxes on city square in t16.5, i have recoup, regen and on block life, if i am not dead then am always full hp.

I’m currently a level 100 Luminary running a ManyShot / Ice Shot merc, but I’m getting a bit bored with it and want to switch to something different.
The problem is, I can’t decide between two builds:
Kineticist — using Kinetic Blast of Clustering
Cruel Mistress — Soulrend of Reaping
Which one would you recommend and why?
And i know that is different builds, life stack and aura stack, but it’s not problem.
I’m mainly looking for something that feels fun and strong to play at this level. If you’ve played either of these builds, I’d really appreciate your opinion! Wanna try to rush hunting for damnation. Saw dude running death aura and he was fast, but I don’t want to level new character.

i'm looking for a good to try out some conflict legion farming, as i've already done most farms and i also wanna test that one out.

I know that mamba is good, but i think other than legion only it's not that great, especially since dot cap can't melt ubers.
I'm also currently having a EK Ignite Explode Build, but that doesn't melt legion in a big enough area. Gotta run to the edge which slows down the use of conflict quite hard.
I've also seen a fireball build doing it, probably with pact of beidat, but i have 0 experience with that. So i don't know how good it really is.

So the requirements are basically: Must perform incredibly good on conflict legion and be able to kill ubers. (Not 1 shot, but i also don't want to fight 1-2 minute for each boss cause of the lack of single target dps.) Somewhat tanky at least, no glascanon.
Budget is between 1-2 mirrors. Have about 1,5mirror right now, but i could sell my old build for like 400-500d more.

(No minions or luminary. I hate minion playstyle and just being the "support" in poe)

I’ve been playing a lot this league but i feel like im still poor af.

Im currently paying worb pcharge and doing divination card strategy and it works, but i feel like its very slow.

I look at people making hundreds of divs and i sit 3-4 hours and i make 8-10 div/hour, which is not bad i think, but at this point of the league i think i could make much more.

Should i learn how to craft? Any advice of strategies? Is my build crazy bad?

This is my current build (pobb.in). Default/1 loadout is me, Manyshot is manyshot with custom config to make it reflect real damage. Manyshot has WED, Hypo, pierce, return on Vaal ice shot.

I am followin the ruetoo version. I am not really experienced with bow builds or aurabots, so I do not really understand what to do. Currently I'm running a phys bow and scaling hatred. Build does not use AG or extra buttons like smite.

1) How do I swap to a simplex? Do I need a lightning overcap body, or is there some source of main hand crit that I am missing?

2) Should I continue with a phys bow, or should I go tri-ele and swap hatred for anger? I see real bow builds kinda do either on poe.ninja.

3) Is Omnescience attribute stacking or Crown of eyes + Unblinking Eye + Cold overcap evasion stacking a better endgame? From what I can gather the second one would be better because the build is starved for increased damage, but neither seem to enjoy using unique rings so idk what to do.

4) What to do with Luminary's passive tree? Should I try squeezing in another large cluster, or should I go for 3p voices at this point? Or are there some really good wheels that I am missing?

5) Should I swap to some other jewels like Guardian or Champoin F&F, or like, an aura effect Militant Faith like armor stackers do? My nearest plan was to get a mind over matter impossible escape for an endurance charge generation notable from Hubris, but idk how good that would be.

Here's a very very basic TL;DW. Vid is only like 9 minutes for crafting section and has full details with timestamps for steps.

1. Make Elder influence bases and alteration spam.
2. Isolate Flaring and Elder mod with 50/50 annul.
3. Isolate Hybrid phys and % phys prefixes with Kishara's Ducat.
4. Essence Craft attack speed suffix and isolate with annul or Kishara. Or alter the Regex and put aside T1 attack speed bases if you want to save a few divines.
5. Craft Brinehook on Prefix bases and recombine with suffix bases to get Flaring + attack speed on one axe and Hybrid + Elder Mod on another. Or the other way around, doesn't matter, just make sure both suffixes are present.
6. Craft Brinehook on both axes and Recombine, pray for Flaring + Hybrid to recombine. Suffixes are just about guaranteed to recombo. If you hit it, you can bench craft % phys for 1200-1300 pdps axe with culling and it only will have cost 10-20div.
7. If you want god tier axe, repeat steps 5 and 6, but instead of Hybrid Phys, use % phys (Merciless, Tyrannical).
8. Now you have two axes
   1. Axe 1 - Flaring, Hybrid, Attack Speed, Elder Mod.
   2. Axe 2 - Flaring, % phys, Attack Speed, Elder mod.
9. Craft brinehook on both again to preserve suffixes and recombine. Pray you get the triple prefix recombo.
10. Final axe will have 1600+ pDPS and culling.

FYI this is not my build, just something I came across while browsing ninja

This guy has a max of 7 brands, triggering his Spark of the Nova about 4 times per second, for about 28 triggers per second when all brands are active (most of the time). His triggerbots double that, making it 56 triggers per second. Then, his brand recall is automated so that it is casted every second, which triggers his brands, which will be again doubled by his trigger bots.

I lost count eventually, but he is getting somewhere between 70 triggers per second, and even more because he has a SECOND brand recall on his wand, that is TRIGGERED when he casts skills, although at an 8 second cooldown (which will be reduced by all his modifiers to cooldown recovery rate). Since it is TRIGGERED, his triggerbots will double it as well, so what would be one trigger, will be double by his triggerbots, which will trigger all his 7 brands (two times).

This is insane, and I doubt I will ever have the currency and game knowledge to assemble a build of this level, but it would probably be one of my endgoals with PoE.

Edit: I only talked about the mechanics of his triggers, but if you decide to check his gear you will be just as impressed

I recently transitioned my Level 90 Elementalist from Winter Orb to a Physical DoT setup (Reap / Exsanguinate / Corrupting Fever) using Ruetoo's concepts as a guideline.

This build feels kinda good and watched dozen of crafting tuto to make every piece of gear that you can see (| don't know if there are optimal ! have 1 div and some chaos left after crafting)

Clear speed is really good, but boss fights sometimes feel awkward. What can l improve to increase my single-target DPS?

I already see that my cluster jewels are not optimal and lcould probably save some passive points.

Well, I played PoE2 as soon as the beta opened, but due to life circumstances, I no longer have my PC. However, I do have a PS5 and want to get the Platinum trophy for PoE1 before playing PoE2 in December when the 1.0 version launches.

Since the experience will be different—playing with a controller instead of mouse and keyboard—I’d like to know if you have any recommendations for strong builds that are viable for the endgame, handle well on a controller, and are fun to play.

I mostly just see recommendations for RF Juggernaut, but that didn't look all that fun to me, so I'm looking for other options.

What is a good bossing merc for health stack / flame link merc that is not 100div combatant. My luminary is pretty good, and my manyshot can clear everything but it's not deleting bosses in 5 seconds and I just want to murder Velka for the stupid challenge.

Hello all, I just wanted to share my final PoB for 3.29. I've been playing bannerman and absolutely loving it. I played corrupting cry a few leagues ago and been looking for something to scratch that corrupted blood AoE itch.

This build started out as a regular Bloodsoaked banner build but I kinda wanted to see just how far I could push it. I've never reached level 100 or gotten even a third of this dps so this was an incredible league for me. I'm extremely happy with it.

In the attached screenshot you can see the border of my banner. The center is on Johan offscreen.

Anywho I hope you guys enjoy. Just wanted to share since it's my first 100.

P.s. for reference I believe the screen is about 8 meters so we're pretty deep past that.

I'm checking up on the current league mirror-gloves and saw some minion-oriented ones around the market that left me wondering how +#% to critical strike chance affixes work with Raise Spectres. How exactly would they work with Spectres, considering every spectre has different personal stats?

Would attack Spectres benefit strictly from either Gem or Attack Affixes? Would Spectres in general only benefit from either Gem or Spell affixes since it explicitly says about what is socketed, and Raise Spectres has the Spell tag? Does the extra crit chance even apply to Spectres at all, since it applies to the gem and the gem is "statless"?

The wording is pretty confusing with Raise Spectres specifically, so if anyone has the answer for this it would be deeply appreciated.

I wanted to allocate divine shield for my BV assassin. However, problem is that my armour comes from flasks (13k armour) and apparently divine shield activates on every new instance before mageblood flask effect takes place. Therefore, I start every new map with ~1.3k ES. Additionally, since I use Shavronne's revelation, I cannot regen or recharge the the ES so only way of gaining full ES is then to leech or block to gain it back. Practically, I would have to take shavronnes revelation off in beginning of every map to allow ES to recharge. Is there something what can be done or should I just play withous divine shield?

With a friend we are doing a new character run using the POE Random Build Generator, and i have to work with a pathfinder using ice spear as main DPS skill. I know it will probably be shit overall, but i want to marry at best the strengths of the pathfinder and ice spear. Maybe some poison shenaningans?

I have some ideas, but i'd be glad to hear more propositions of combos and items !

A few days ago a user posted about how the new Craicic Talisman could be used to give a permanent 48% additional physical damage reduction. Since then I have made a couple improvements to this setup which allows you to increase this benefit to a permanent 56% instead of 48%.

Recap of previous post:

• Craicic Talisman gives 100% buff effect, meaning each crab barrier grants 4% add phys reduction
• Crab helmet/Vestigial implicit prevents you losing barriers if you have been hit recently
• Crab boots/Vestigial implicit limits the barrier loss to 5 per hit
• Crab body armour gives +5 maximum barriers
• In summary, 17 barriers with level 30 aspect, when hit you lose 5 bringing you to 12, you cannot lose more barriers for 4 seconds and by then you are back to 17 barriers. 12*4=48% add phys reduction

Tech improvements:

By using the "Runegraft of the Bound", we decrease the boots effect by 20%, which is actually a boost in power since it reduces the crab barrier loss from 5 to 4 (proven in game). Then, a volatile vaal orb can be used on the boots to decrease the barrier loss from 5 to 4, the runegraft then decreases this from 4 to 3.

(17-3)*4%=56% add phy reduction.

The volatile orb variant has not been tested (the cost to test is very high) however it is highly likely to work in practice.

The vestigial implicit on the boots DOES also decrease when using the runegraft (tested in game), so you can gain a permanent 52% reduction and then obtain a different pair of unique boots using the crab vestigial.

Overall, the cost remains high to use this tech in the core game. Hopefully there will be some additional enhancements to further improve the crab barrier aspect. It is close to being a good solid option.

EDIT: As a user points out, if you put the +5 max barriers vestigial implicit on stasis prism, then you can increase this to +10. This increases our total benefit to 76% permanent add phys reduction (with volatile boots) or 72% with just the runegraft.

Hi, how can avoid losing the specters form corpse items if I want to play some games without them? I want to test something, but without the specters I own and then be able to use them again.

Would it work by removing the raise specter gem in town and opening a map from Karui Shores?

I just want a few maps without them and them go back to my setup.... please, what's the correct way of doing this, I already lost some valuable specters.

I started my league with a KF Totems build (great clear) and then moved on to a PB Herald Stacker (great clear), but both builds fall short in killing tough bosses in Deli runs or in Simulacrum. I can only get to about level 12 in Simulacrum with either build. Just can't kill the bosses fast enough.

I have about 1000 Divs to play with, and for my last build of this league I would like something that's a much better bosser, but doesn't involve piano keys. I'm cool with a one or two button build.

Not a minion enjoyer either. Basically something "not" similar to Pohx RF build (which I actually enjoy for clearing as well). I also tried Luminary/Merc but didn't enjoy having to gear two characters at once.

Also, I'm still kind of a noob, so I would need a full guide off Moba or Maxx. I can also use POBs, but would need some hand holding through the campaign.

Any guidance would be appreciated.
