I want a Rathpith for my Merc...

I need to farm harvest bosses to get sacred crystallized lifefore. I’ve used all my curnocopia scarabs and harvest astrolabes :(

Current strategy is running top right quadrant map (Beach) with harvest + betreyal atlas. With harvests im just checking if there is boss spawned in any area, kill everything thats T3+ for juice. With betreyal I’m hoping to get more curnocopias buy putting vorici in intervention. Then quick map boss kilk hoping for overgrown shrine anomaly.

Is there more efficient way of doing this? Like some voyages strat or something else i might have overlooked?

Feeling very lucky i got a MB from Apoth gambling but still feel like i need Light of meaning before i can grind out for Ashes but i really am sick of ritual already....same with the grind to 100, the call of trade is strong and i must resist, any easy changes to make?

Kinda want do one fresh run on SSF where focusing to go Assassin, havent played long time it. What build would fit good on zero to hero idea? Build which can start ground loot to scale 4 voidstones and ubers on SSF environment? :)

Hey everyone, got a MB on a valdo map and I was thinking what could be the best options to try to get it on SSF.

No idea what archtype would be the best here, any suggestions?

I'm planning on making a char just to try it, so its fine if I fail and void.

One of my first thoughts was boneshatter/earthshatter, but with the less damage not sure if they will be able to.

60% quality is not an easy feat without the market. Been sinking all of my hiveblood on ancients specced into foulborns and shields hoping for prism guardian but no luck so far. Been setting up heist to try for replica voideye or crest of desire but not sure if that would be more likely or just a change of pace. I don't think my build can handle uber eater but will probably give that a try too. How did you all do it?
edit: I farmed a ton of lab so enhance was the way to go for me, had no idea it could hit lvl5 so easily with crafts. 36 challenges done just in time for poe2!

tldr use meatsacks with petal memory thread mod that prevents rares from dropping gear

I'm sure a lot of familiar with Allflame Ember of Ethereal scarab farm, but on SSF you cant get much of those embers.

What I've been doing instead is fishing for a memory thread mod that says "Killing a rare monsters consumes 50 petals to prevent it dropping items that can have rarity". It pretty much works the same as Ethereal ember for rares.

I get between half of inventory to full inventory of scarabs (unflltered, per map). I dont think this strat is significantly better than scuba diving, but it allows you to target specific scarab a bit better.

So here is the strat:

• Run memory thread till you get the mod
• Chaos spam map for 50%+ scarabs and exalt to 6 mods. Ideally u want map with high quant and pack size too. Feel free to chisel too. Bonus points if you roll "Rares have +1 mod" or "rares are shaper touched".
• Atlas tree: all effect, all quant, as much scarab nodes as possible, I also take beasts. Dont forget node that boosts scarabs per mod on a rare monster.

Scarabs to use (there are several options, but you have only 3 slots):

• Option 1: x1 Betrayal Scarab of Allflame + x2 Ember of Flesh (meatsacks)
• Option 2: x2 Horned Scarab of Nemesis + x1 Scarab of Adversaries

Mix of those also fine.

You can see your amount of petals in top left, you dont wanna kill good rare monsters if you dont have them. Petals are gained from killing "zana" red-glow monsters and stepping on those petal things that they drop (so dont just offscreen, always run over dead mobs).

Obviously, other mods during thread can synergize with this strat (pack size, petals quant, rare revive, etc).

And on adjacent note: if you get mod "Final boss drops 3 scarabs" - it's good to combine that with destructive play and Pandemonium scarab.

What’s the fastest way to find a good merc?

My plan is to take all merc nodes except for the less attributes/more likely to be from house xxx nodes. Take all map drop chance and the rest dump in scarabs or influence map drops.

Run atoll. Merc is usually at the beginning of the map. Check merc. Capture or loot merc. Rush to boss, kill and hope map drops for sustain.

Is that ok or is there a better way or map?

This is my current character that I have progressed further than I expected to. Thinking about trying some Ubers this league. Looking for tips/suggestions. Presently I’m trying to get a veiled exalt for the helm. Then farm incursion for gloves to fracture. Going to change the boots and gloves to arm/es based. Also farming the king of the forest (?) for a cold jewel. What else should/could I do? Thanks for any help.

Hi all, only been playing ssf for the past 2 leagues after i get my trade fix, and im currently playing merc bot as everyone else is, but looking for a reroll.

If it helps I have most foulborne non-jewels, have mageblood, fire damage light of meaning, and the herald hive ring. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Got this merc today and global said it was pretty good. Is it worth farming for a better one or should I move on to working at the gear now?

I made a worby witch, but I'm interested in trying out these new scion ascendancies. I have no special uniques or anything yet, but I'd appreciate some build links or suggestions.

I’m currently farming Expedition Logbooks in SSF 3.29 and I’m starting to wonder if I’m missing something or if the boss spawn rate has changed.

I’ve opened/scouted 50+ Logbooks, all area level 81+, mixed factions:

• Black Scythe
• Druids of the Broken Circle
• Order of the Chalice
• Knights of the Sun

I enter the Logbook, check the expedition map for the large boss skull, and if there isn’t one I leave immediately and open another one.

So far: 0 bosses in 50+ Logbooks.

I’ve seen the ~20% natural boss spawn rate mentioned on the wiki/community before, which would make this streak pretty extreme.

Has anyone else experienced a very low/no boss spawn rate in 3.29?
Did anything change this league, or is this just horrible RNG?

Also, can anyone confirm there is no hidden prerequisite/unlock required before Expedition bosses can naturally appear in Logbooks?

Happened to find omen of chance, tried to get frenzy ralakesh boots for my archmage but got power instead, not bad.

Any good ideas for a build using templar? I got tulfall and malachais already, now started hoarding rings for corrupting. Was initially thinking stormburst totem but then I'd be missing the +1 totem from rare shield.

Also what ascendancy should I go for? I guess hiero works with everything, keep big manapool and MoM for defence or should i swap to inquisitor

Got a shield I never seen before. What build uses this shield?
If the build is ssf viable, want to give it a try.

Ran a valdo with my luminary for sublime vision and got POF... Should I fit this into my current lumi and just ditch purity of elementst and precision or should I build smth else?

I'm trying to get Vaal Temptation support for a Ground Slam character, but I can barely get the Trialmaster to spawn at all. Does anybody know if his spawn rate is determined by map IIQ/R/pack size, or should I just be spamming white City Square and going directly to the Ultimatums?

What is a 'todo' progression list after finishing campaign? I'm a new player and there's so many things that should be worked on and improved in order to survive poe's endgame.

• get res capped
• automate flasks
• get pantheon from divine vessels
• get kingsmarch up and running
• finish all labs
• get quality on flasks and gems

Do you have any other 'must have' things?

Dozens of hours and around 2.5kk kills later, I can finally slow down with the diving and try the Luminary Merc bot.

I was diving all the time, speedrunning maps, and doing all sorts of shenanigans with Clams Charts, but had absolutely no luck. Today, though, I did one completely normal random Voyage and got this beauty, with rolls like these.

I know it’s not a necessary item, but I made a deal with myself that I wouldn’t start this build until I got this amulet. So here we go!

I already have a few decent Mercs and some decent uniques, including Rathpith, so now I’m going to level a new character.

Is this doable as a PRAW necro?

So I recently posted about people telling me to play PRAW. However I feel like necro spectres would be a more interesting build now I look into it. I think it might be a good longer term project for next league as I'm currently doing lots of spell and dots.

However im wondering if there is a good guide for this as its a build you sort of do in stages. You dont really want to go spectre as your main dps when you have 3 of them for example.

You start off leveling with srs. Then once you have dark monarch and Congregation support you can start moving towards a specture build which would be just after 2nd stone is done.

However I have basically only played srs and normally on a guardian so the overall build might be very different.

Im hoping a pure fire hit based srs would be strong enough to get to that stage to get gear without needing to swap into poison with an envy weapon and farming poison jewels.

Im just wondering if my current plan works or if there is anything major I could be missing that would improve the overall character

\- play necromancer till lv4 as spells (prob fireball)

\- get srs at lv4 and start using, eventually with legion and minion dmg. Taking minion duration wheel and 30% aoe mastery.

\- play srs infernal legion until act 3 library get anger + genorosity and play fire hit based srs.

- first lab get duration node for better QOL and start having ms offering effect us to speed up acts a bit.

\- remember to get key spectre on way like perma onslaught from act 6 and frenzy monkey.

\- finish acts and start doing lab for some levels / quality for important gems for early power before maps. At this stage possibly have offering effect me + minion leech assendacys.

\- first atlas tree focus on Jun + Breach. Jun is needed later for katerina bloodline and getting +1 spectre shield. Breach to start getting passives for trees and some gear for later like es boots with fractured ES.

\- once I unlock 2nd atlas tree focus on abyss just to farm some jewels with flat dmg for srs.

\- possibly farm some ritual if I need stronger support spectres before stones.

\- after getting 2 stones then focus on farming Incarnation of Dread to get dark monarch and support. Possibly also bone meld if it drops before dark monarch.

\- start farming up pure es gear with multiple t1 mods from recomb or breach.

\- swap to spectres using basic frenzy + power + onslaught support minions and start farming ritual for better corpses. Possibly using frost auto scout as dmg if getting forged frostbearer or Wretched Defiler is taking too long

Got like 150+ ilvl83 charts and no kishara rest. Why make it so rare lol....wanted to farm the ring and play with it but this is getting annoying
