Sex Concerned
My friend scared me that you can get your period and still be pregnant but I googled it and I have a normal shedding but I’m still worried this is a possibility is there any girls that experience this too?? I wish my friend never mentioned that because google spiraling isn’t helping

This is what happened with my 3rd baby. I had taken a pregnancy test a day before my due period and it was positive. The next day I got what looked like my normal period. I called my dr and explained I had a positive test the day before and they told me to go to the ER. They confirmed the pregnancy while there and really didn’t have much of an explanation. My pregnancy didn’t have any issues either. But with my previous two pregnancies, I never bled. I very clearly missed the period once I became pregnant.

Even if he wore a condom and pulled out when he came and I’m on birth control

In that case I would say your chance is extremely extremely low. Try not to stress as that can delay your period. But condom plus pulling out plus birth control, I would be absolutely shocked if you conceived from that.

Lmao I’ve been on my period and normal heavy shedding and it’s bright red with period cramps but it’s still a anxiety thought I had ever since my friend mentioned it plus I have pcos so my periods are irregular without birth control

I totally understand why that would make you anxious 😭❤️ Bleeding can happen during pregnancy, but it’s not the same as a true menstrual period. If this is your usual period in terms of flow and duration, pregnancy is less likely. If there’s any chance of pregnancy and you’re still worried, taking a pregnancy test can give you some peace of mind. 🫶 health searches can make the anxiety spiral worse....

It's VERY unusual and not gonna be a full on womb lining situation. But I'm begging ppl to just plz use contraception. Condom + sponge or pill + condom or ask for his vasectomy papers
Also, pregnancy tests are cheap and very accurate. Just take one if you're worried. I promise you'll feel better. But you gotta have faith in the test too, it's SO rare that it shows false after so many weeks.

Also, try to stay off Google for any and all things medical related. You will find scary answers and just send yourself in to anxiety. Speak with a doctor if you can. In person or telehealth services. But no more Dr. Google :)
