Not really, basically all modern historiography places the amount of people directly killed by stalin at ~10 million. Hitler killed, at the minimum 17 million.

Now if we add to that excess mortality from policy decisions and such, Stalin reaches perhaps around 20 million. Of course by the same measure Hitler jumps far above 20 million, though it is a bit less clear how many more there are.

Stalin's regime lasted decades longer than Hitler's. Through sheer length of time, he beat Hitler's death count.

He did not. The only way you manage to attribute more deaths to Stalin then to Hitler is if you count excess mortality for Stalin, and only direct deaths for Hitler.

Actually, i gotta agree. Stalin is responsible for maybe as many as 20 million people between the wars, gulags, famines, and mass murders.

However, the calculations of deaths under Hilters direct action can easily add up to approximately 40 million deaths.
