I’m American. I’m pretty sure most of us who have even a passing understanding of WW2 know the efforts we put in were mostly in the pacific theater. I’d replace “Americans” with “uneducated MAGA yokels” and not have any arguments.

Don’t understate our manufacturing capabilities. We sent large munitions, vehicles, food etc to the Soviets through lend lease.

Lend-lease was USA's greatest contribution and they gave a herculean effort in Europe and the Pacific as well. The Soviets were still getting rolled up for a while on the Eastern front and making the German's fight on two fronts helped win the war for Soviets and Allies alike. Nobody's efforts should be downplayed.
