The USSR was powered by US oil. About 58% of the refined petroleum they consumed from 1941 onwards came directly from Texas. Especially high quality aviation fuel. And the UK was responsible for keeping the shipping lanes open which transported these resources.
The USA might not have left as many men behind on the battlefield as the USSR but there is no way the USSR could have beat Germany without our resource and logistical support, and we pretty much single-handedly beat the Japanese.
If I were to break down every Allied power by contribution during WWII it would look something like:
USSR: 35%
USA: 30%
UK: 20%
The rest all combined: 15%
