Do the brits really find this depressing? This would genuinely be therapeutic to me.

Gentle hum of houses, smell of mildew and rain, maybe even a light shower still, droplets hitting the puddles, the sound of a car rolling down the road, picking up and moving the water, a slight chill but nothing too unbearable.

I live for that shit.

Could do with some more greenery but yeah this is fine for me, love the tranquility of the rain.

The sunlight/weather is generally the depressing part of the UK. Seasonal depression is one of the main complaints I hear from people who have moved here.

In winter the sun rises around 9am and sets around 5pm, so you go to work in the dark and leave work in the dark most days.

Then theres also the grey skies which could go uninterrupted for months.
