Yeah, they’re from my hometown. We’ve got an ice hockey team that’s named after them.

You don’t really hear an accent in most German songs that became popular internationally. Peter Schilling might be the exception.

Yeah i definitely heard it in peter schilling. Though I'd have guessed him being German from his name anyway. I was also thinking more of British bands like pink floyd and u2 where you can hear their British accent in some songs

Now that you know they're German, if you listen for a German accent, you can hear it, but it's subtle if you're not paying attention.

Literally haha. I was on a drive the other day on some fun backroads with speed limits far too high and it just popped into my brain. Absolutely. Perfect. Song. So fun
