Never flirted in general it seems. Everyone’s assuming he’s some gaslighting lovebombing playboy with horrible intentions. Sometimes I feel like I’m behind in life but a quick scroll through the average Redditor’s train of thought always cheers me up

A big portion of reddit, especially younger kids, seem to treat any man showing a sexual interest in women as a horrible, terrible, no good thing. There's basically no context that they seem to think it's appropriate anymore.

Who knew Gen z/alpha would be the next prudes

Unfortunately it's not just the kids. A lot of reddit are incels who rationalise it by saying "I'm nice to women", like this guy in this thread.

They seem to think that women are helpless creatures with no agency that need to be protected, and don't realise that that's misogynistic.

It's crazy what a lack of basic human interactions turns people into. The good thing about terminally online people is that you know where to find them, and there's no chance of meeting them when you're just living your life
