Conventional theory dictates you will hit a recession if your people aren't making money. In order for people to make more money, inflation is a necessary byproduct.

But that’s the problem people aren’t making money inflation isn’t a byproduct when there’s no product being made it’s become the product the new byproduct being mass layoffs stagnant wages a terrible job market. This isn’t conventional theory anymore

That's the issue really. Is it inflation? Or price gouging? We already know "sticky prices" means prices won't come back down.
