My groceries are 2.6x times their 2018 value. It's too late for the "not too quickly" part.

No, we don’t. The government wants it. It is inflation tax all over again. Deflation can be natural, check the prices of renting videos back in the 90s and compare to nowadays in streaming. Deflation is “bad” to the ones who own money. Guess who is the #1? Exactly. The government… they will “pay” you through inflation. This is why people force into your mind “a little bit of inflation is good”. Roman Empire literally broke thanks to inflation melting other metals in their coins. But history repeats itself and the people will never learn.

They try to force that into your mind because it's correct and basic economics. I don't know how comparing two completely different things is supposed to disprove that.
