mod post Before you make a post about your phone not working because it's bad quality, remind yourself that you will be redirected to /r/lostredditors. This is a sub about showcasing anti-phone arguments.

This is NOT a "help me" sub!
Now that this place is under new management, this subreddit is to joke about how phones are bad with memes. If you want help with your smartphone or wanting to genuinely switch away from it, please look for other subreddits that can actually help you as this one isn't one of them.
Here's some to check out for help:

Unpopular opinion: banning phones at school won’t solve the phone problem.

text post Do you guys ever get a sudden thought like, “What if I throw my phone out of a moving vehicle and keep it somewhere safe?” because you’re confused? 😭

other (edit me) I’m 16 and I feel like my phone has become my whole life
I’m 16 and I feel like my phone has become my whole life
I’m 16 and I’ve been pretty much alone at home since I was around 7 because my parents are busy with work and stuff. I had to learn to do a lot of things independently.
Because I was alone so much, my parents introduced me to phones pretty young. At first it was just something to keep me occupied, but now I feel like I can’t stop using it.
I can easily spend 10+ hours a day scrolling TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, whatever. The weird thing is I don’t even enjoy it that much anymore. I’ll literally be scrolling and thinking “this is boring” and then somehow I’m still scrolling 20 minutes later.
I think part of the problem is that my actual life feels boring sometimes. When there’s nothing going on, my brain automatically goes to my phone because it’s the easiest source of entertainment.
I don’t really want the typical “just delete every app and have discipline” advice. I’ve tried cutting down before and it never lasts.
For people who have actually gotten out of this kind of cycle, what did you replace the scrolling with? How did you make normal life feel interesting again?
I’d genuinely appreciate hearing what worked for you.

text post Typical Help Request of Todays
It is weird that people now seek help for even this. Large parts of them can't use browser and look for "apps" even for trivial things. "Smart"phones didn't make people smart. They made them into mentally-controllable consumers.

Give me 59s

One day, our body will either be cremated or buried in a grave.
So please, give yourself some time.
We spend so much of our lives buried in our phones, scrolling through other people's lives while forgetting to live our own.
Put your phone away sometimes. Take care of your health. Understand yourself. Give yourself time to rest and breathe.
And most importantly, spend time with your family.
Sit with your parents. Talk to your siblings. Laugh together. Eat together. Make memories with the people who genuinely care about you.
Because one day, you may realize that the moments you thought were ordinary were actually some of the most valuable moments of your life.
Life is short. Don't spend all of it staring at a screen.
Take care of yourself.
Take care of your health.
And don't forget to spend time with the people you love.

How do you stop a phone from making a hair cutter noise.
Everytime i came to my friends house to play Minecraft together, theres always 3 people. Me and my w other friends. My one friend uses a vivo y20. Everytime we play, his phone will make a really loud sound like its about to explode. Like how is he still using that time bomb?

One month without phone
September 2026: One Month Without a Smartphone
What if we spent the entire month of September 2026 using a simple keypad phone instead of a touchscreen smartphone?
No Instagram. No endless scrolling. No YouTube shorts. No constant notifications.
Just calls and messages.
Maybe we would start talking to people around us more. We might spend more time with family, meet friends in person, go outside, and actually enjoy conversations without checking our phones every few minutes.
A keypad phone might feel boring at first—but that boredom could give us something valuable back: real-life socializing.
One month. One simple phone. Less screen time. More real life. 📵❤️
Would you try it?

Do you think a phone like the Qin F21 pro is good enough to stop scrolling?

image There is a difference
Nowadays, people's necks hurt because of the phone, and in the past, it was because of one-sided, monotonous work.
The difference is that you can stop use the phone, but not the work.

Saludos.
