Shortly after 5pm these 2 girls came to our door stepped and waited and when we did not answer the door, the one to the right acted like she was tying her shoe while the one on the left was taking picture of the house. And then checked our neighbors if anyone saw and then immediately walked away. Has this happened to anyone today or recent? Or know who they are? Textbooks in their hands during summer break is already suspicious.

I knew that Pickering owners have been complaining about the high tax.

So I wanna ask the owner here:

May I know how much your property tax has increased in the past years?

How much is the high property tax and the high inflation of the tax impacting you?

And is there any discussion /forecast that the tax will be lowered or flattened in future?

Does anyone has any recommendations on reputable dog kennels in Pickering or surrounding area?
I want to make sure our dog is safe and well looked after. I usually leave him with a family member, however they are not able to look after them. I would need to leave them for a week and want my dog to be as comfortable and happy as possible.
Also one that has staff on duty 24 hours a day, not one that has the animals alone overnight.

Pickering Walmart management needs to do something to fix that awful smell. It made me rush my shopping to get out of there.

Could someone please recommend a good butcher in the area who stocks fresh meats, and also could supply interesting cuts and kinds of meat, such as boar and horse, as well as offal like tripe, liver, and heart?

• Helping Hands Daycare in Pickering (18-20 minutes away)
• Schoolhouse Playcare at Lincoln Alexander in Ajax (10 minutes away)
If your child currently attends—or recently attended—either location, I would really appreciate hearing about your experience. We need to decide by evening!

Need to rent 2 ladders to do some potlights at my place . I have a vaulted ceiling that’s about 16-18 foot ceiling. Home Depot has some 14 foot ladders but not a van or truck big enough to transport it.
Might have to rent a 20 foot u haul truck just to transport these massive ladders.
Does this seem reasonable to do?
Is there a better option?
I checked some ladder rentals companies that do deliveries and they quote me over $400 to rent over the weekend .

I think I’ll carry it in my 4Runner sticking out of the rear window rolled rolled down.
