According to this sub Florida has inflated DUPR so they're actually 3.0.

This is Icelandic 2.5 at best though could pass for a Bolivian 3.2

4.0 for sure. 3.5’s don’t ever dink with that kind of patience.

I genuinely can’t tell if this is sarcasm and you’re in on the joke or not

Forget the dinking, the video starts with a speed up that's a short hands battle that's then perfectly reset. 5.0+ easy.

This is the only game where people playing against each other look like they are working together to keep the point alive.

Did the guy in green have pens in his shirt pocket and trying to stop them from falling out?

If played in Florida this is 6.0 there.

Jeez, not in my area, 2.5 max where I live. Would hate to get stuck in open play with those guys but unfortunately it happens.

so are their official DUPRs really 3.5?

u/RENTDGthrowaway 20h ago
Obviously not, it’s just engagement bait.
This is Florida 5.0 DUPR for comparison, for anyone who still thinks Florida DUPRs are meaningfully different than any other major metro area https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIMS9sGnv1M

Sounds about right. I have seen players with less than 3.5 play better than this

Late tournament 4.5
Lots of attackable balls but maybe they let them go because they are tired

Someone in the comments recognizes a guy and says they are 6.0

What about this point is 6.0? It's a standard pickleball point and we're asked to judge based off of one point.
These posts are dumb.

There's a bunch of things that point out this is high level pickleball. The smoothness of movement, the paddle control to try to disguise the location of speedups, smoothly taking knee high dinks out of the air with control and fluidity, the lack of speedups from below the net that could be countered, etc.

About half way through the video, after the lob is defended, there were multiple missed opportunities for attacks by the closer player on the right.
That's what made me think this single point is below 5.0.

He could attack, but the counter going to even harder than his attack lol. He go to the placement backhand dink to creat pop up which is right because the far right player still in transistion zone.

The first one hit back to him after the lob definitely could have been hit harder, but I don’t really think the second or the third one were really that attackable, but what do I know I’m just a filthy casual rec player.

I just don't understand why the nearside player in the green t-shirt keeps his left arm like it's in a sling.

Yall are hilarious. Far right David Seckel and he is a 6.0.
