I used to be a black jean girlie but now that I've gotten used to skirts, there's no going back. Especially in the summer heat. I felt so cute saying hi to some goats. 😂

I have a bali trip coming up and I have travelled enough times to know I cannot take an empty bag and just buy what I need while I am there.

I am on a strict baggage limit of 17kg (I rarely travel with less than 40kg in all honesty) so I've been very deliberate with my packing and planed an outfit map. It helps me so much to visualise my outfits and to not over pack. It does take some time and patience though.

I grab all the items I am thinking of taking, try them on and make sure they fit how I want them to. Having visited Bali before I know for a fact I will bloat so I made sure everything was really comfortable/slightly loose fitting.

Then I take photos of the items and make a collage of each type (pants together, tops together etc) pick out which items are more cohesive, this helps narrow down so I can easily mix and match. I started off with like six pants, tweleve tops, five skirts etc and culled from there.

It is a process but I actually really enjoy it and then I put collages together (most product images I sourced from where I got them or I took a photo of them with a good light and removed the background) of bottoms and tops, dresses, beach/swimwear and accessories to see it all together.

This may seem totally crazy but I needed to pack a couple of months in advance due to moving and this truly helps with the temptation not to buy more or add more.

I've been searching and searching, and there are absolutely no women's band tees for Korn, Linkin Park, or even Metallica! (I live in the USA for reference) The band tees that I have seen modified for girls are like a maximum of 22 in width across the chest. (Pit to pit) I'm 32-34in!!!! And when using a fashion measuring tape around my torso, like i do for most chain clothing businesses, I'm 49.5 in. HOWEVER, the only times it WOULD fit around my chest, the length of the shirt, from hem to collar, is like 31in, that's down to my mid-thigh!!! I'm dying, guys. Please, I need help 😭 I do NOT CARE about the price; I just need options!!!

So, I’m 52. I’ve had 2 kids. I’ve probably lost and gained hundreds of pounds over my lifetime so far (you may be picking up on the fact that my lower belly is big and hanging). I have to go to a cardiology conference at the end of October. I spend most of my days in scrubs, or mix and match casual clothes. The “suggested” attire is business casual.

I HATE structured clothes. Blazers and collared shirts would be a possibility, but I also have short hair and I’m not ready to look like a bus driver interviewing for a bank job.

What do you guys do when you have this particular attire suggested? I’m leaning towards maybe some shirt dresses and leggings or…yeah, that’s all I got.

I am a bridesmaid in a wedding in two weeks. I have the dress, which is tailored to fit and I feel decent in it! My problem now is my footwear. I used to be the girl who wore heels whenever, but now I avoid them like the plague. I haven’t really worn them in years. And my foot size changed to Wide after being pregnant last year. I got a new pair of heels and searched specifically for wide, comfortable shoes. They fit technically, but gosh my feet hurt. Especially one foot that I am going through physical therapy to treat. Idk what to do or how I’m going to make this work! Any advice??

I'm in the midst of overhauling my closet and have found the brand PRETTYGARDEN has a lof of basics for reasonable prices, but I wanted to see if anyone here had experience ordering from them and if their sizing was pretty true to what was listed. I am in the USA and have a funeral to attend next week and they are requesting everyone to wear white. I was trying to order a dress off of ever pretty, but it won’t get here in time and I need it by next Tuesday. I’m also realizing it’s hard to find a dress that’s white because lots of fall colors are coming into season.

I have tried looking at Torrid, Eloqui, Anthropology, JCPenney, Kohls, Macys, Maurice’s and others with no luck.

I’m a trans woman, plus sized, and I’ve shopped ladies plus since I transitioned.

There’s an annoying tendency in ladies plus sized fashion that just because the garment is made for a woman who’s measurements are larger than “average” (I doubt those non-plus sized garments can actually be called “average” in America, where I’m from).

Long story short: when i shop I see three categories: “normal”, which is so “normal” it doesn’t get it’s own size distinction, “petit”, and “plus”.

The plus sized garments tend to cover more of the wearer’s body. So does anyone know of an online shop I can find clothes that fit larger bodies which show skin?

Hi all! First time poster :)

These were originally my mama’s jeans. I’m not 100% on her pant size but she usually wears around a 4x. I am an 18-22 for pant size, 2x (ish.) for tops etc. For me, these jeans fit tighter around my thighs, and loosen below the knees. Are these just bootcut? I’ve looked up boot cut jeans on women of similar size to me, but it doesn’t exactly look like what I’m looking for. The tag says straight cut, but that would be straight cut for a woman bigger than me, so I’m not 100% sure 😅

Unfortunately these jeans have basically eroded in the inner thighs, a struggle I’m sure a lot of you face 💔 older, fast fashion denim + big thighs rubbing together + near daily use = fabric that has just proofed out of existence… so I’m looking for a replacement pair!!

Hello! I have wide feet but not extra wide and it’s mostly a toe box issue. Does anyone have any recs for a daily 1.5-2in pump? No straps, closed toed. Preferably in some sort of leather or pleather. I feel like my internet scouring skills are lackluster.

ETA: I’m NA based. Shoe size US 9.5/UK 40. I’m looking to spend anywhere up to $150. My current dailies are Birkenstocks and Teva sandals.

I am beginning to think that I just cannot wear their sweatpants lol. I love my zip up and hoodies I have from them. But pants… absolutely not! I am so sad! At first I bought the grey leopard hoodie with the matching pants which those are minimalist straight leg.. I bought a 2x and they were way too tight in the belly but giant oh my legs! Super unflattering.

Just ordered a bundle deal for $57 which is a steal with a zip up and matching sweats. (Joggers in cloud line) nope! I have a lot of room in the stomach but yet they’re still tightish?? Tried these ones in a 3x since they claim to run bigger than the minimalist line. Don’t know how to explain it but it’s not flattering, could wear something over to cover my tummy however I look like a tent. I mean the legs on these are so huge on me that I think I could fit 3 legs my size in one pant leg 😅

I will sadly have to return. I don’t understand the sizing. Now I am 5’8, 290 and normally a 20-22. I do not have thick thighs though, I have rather small legs and more of a belly, so more apple shaped. I see so many women on tik tok model these that are much larger than me and they look great. Am I just being scammed?? 😅 if anyone has any insight on maybe another style that works better let me know!

How much cleavage is too much cleavage?
I don’t like wearing camisoles underneath to cover up so I won’t be doing that but this feels like a lot of boob. I can probably try to pin it closed more I suppose. Also seems like a large swath of empty skin so if I do wear it like this, do I wear a bunch of necklaces?
It also came with this scarf/belt. It doesn’t really work as a belt though so I’m trying to figure out if it can be a next scarf or head scarf.

Edit: I got this to wear at a queer witchy market that I go to every year so generally, boobs on display are acceptable if not the norm but this might be too much boob.

Edit: heard on the proportions! I felt the same way. I was wearing a quarter cup bra since it’s the lowest one I have but here’s an update with different bra. I have more support for sure. I think I’ll try pinning the wrap together more and see if that can cover the bra. Thanks for all your input! I’ll say this combo for when I’m feeling extra saucy.

The trouble is I am 5' and 270. So around US size 22. By most sites I looked at for Saree or Anakarli dresses I am a 6x. Also my budget is under $250.

It is an autumn wedding in NYC so I don't want to overheat with long sleeves but 3/4 is doable.

Is anyone else having trouble with sizing, particularly "alternative" brands. Ifeel like I'm losing it with "size inclusive" brands not actually being size inclusive...can someone explain how a XXL is a size 22-24? Or a 4XL is only 115cm bust?

Its actually ridiculous all so brands can say their "size inclusive" when really they're lying to us. The whole entire system needs an overhaul as it should be illegal to just make up your own sizing. We should have universal sizing because its getting ridiculous.

Has anyone else noticed that extended sizing past an XL for women’s clothing is gone on items where it used to exist, particularly all of the fancier maxi dresses for an occasion like a wedding ? I tried to call the customer service today and they said they could not disclose whether or not that was going to be permanent…
