Temple Interview
Hi everyone! I have an interview with Temple coming up and I was wondering if anyone has any tips?

Temple interviews are usually pretty conversational, as they really want to see if you are a good fit for their hands-on, clinically focused culture. Be ready to explain why you chose podiatry over other medical fields, and specifically why Temple's program appeals to you. Mentioning their strong surgical training or the Gait Study Center shows you have done your research. They will also ask about your shadowing experiences, so have a specific story ready to share about what you learned or what surprised you.
Beyond your specific answers, they are assessing your communication skills and your personality. Try to show that you are compassionate and can handle stress, because podiatry school is tough. Ask them thoughtful questions at the end, not just about statistics, but about student life, research opportunities, or what they enjoy most about teaching at Temple. This shows you are engaged and truly interested in the program. Interviewed with temple last year and the process was very welcoming. They did not ask me to explain any stats or ask difficult questions. Was accepted within a week or 2.

Explaining your reason for going into podiatry and be able to explain anything like gpa decreases or a low MCAT . Also some of the clinicians are super nice and ask questions just about your hobbies and what you’re passionate about. Be yourself but be professional in my opinion is the best advice . Also you’ll get to meet students for lunch ask anything you want, it’s not being reported back.
