Sometimes I feel like I’m drowning in an invisible pool
Reaching my hand out of the void
“please pull me from the water, it’s dark and cold and I’m running out of breath”,
they tell me “there is no water, you’re on land.”
I feel crazy.
How do you tell someone that they did nothing wrong but they are destroying you slowly?
How do you tell someone you love them but you hate being around them?
How do you tell someone that you wish they would hurt you so you could justify leaving them?
How do you tell your friends that you’re so miserable that you fantasize about tragedies so you’ll finally be free from a prison of your own making.
How?
How do you stop yourself from dying when nothing is killing you?
How do you stop choking when nothing is stopping your breath?
How do you explain that nothing is stopping you and you can’t move?
How do you tell someone that nothing is the problem?
Nothing.
It’s always nothing.
There is nothing.
Me and nothing sit in a pool and we are one.
