Honestly not sure. The hundo seems like the right choice, but the shiny is super close to a hundo anyways.

I'm in a similar situation as well. I'd mega both.

If you bought the battle pass you'd get around 8600 energy. Use energy to activate their Mega and wait for timer to mega, instead of using the rest of the energy to jump to the end.

Then in the mean time walk them to get the 5000 total each for super

If I have a shundo, would you say the pass is even worth buying? I suppose there's a chance I could get a shundo with the background. I have blast burn as well although I don't have the (+) move that I think they get from the event.

Ahh, so really the only reason to buy the pass would be for the chance at a shundo BG, extra shinies for trades, and that's about it then

I don't know if you raid in person or remote raid but once these mega pokemon become available to raid, you'll probably end up spending $30+ on remote raids.

I only do remote raids. So I'd would end up spending $30-40+ on remote raid passes and that's for one new mega. So this is a big money saver to get enough energy to super mega one of the new megas form energy now plus other megas pokémon energy included in the pass.

Plus these passes that include shiny boost aren't always that great. You got to remember it's only a shiny boost not guarantee.

It’s not for PvP so don’t need the best IVs possible. For me it’s shiny easy. I’d wait for the pass to be over in case you get a shiny with better IVs

Ivs dont matter unless its pvp and even then they still dont matter much, id go for the shiny, plus the shiny is basically a functional hundo

whatever you do (my advice is the hundo) evolve both since they get blastburn rn (assuming you chose fennekin as your starter)

The shiny if you like how it looks. The IV are so good it’s not going to have a noticeable difference. My best shiny so far is a 2 star and my best regular is a 93%. We just started though, so we all still have time yet. But if you have the candy… evolve them both all the way, because the one I evolved learned blast burn! I’m assuming that’s exclusive to this week, but I’m not sure.

No, unless you got the pass with +10 ranks you could only get to rank 12 In one day or 22 with the boost.

I’d do the shiny. The shiny flex is the only thing visible when you’re raiding. Nobody but you knows the IVs . Honestly the shiny is close enough to a hundo for all intents and purposes.

The HP IV does literally not matter. I'd do the shiny

For Delphox, attack IVs are most important imo. The damage difference overall is minuscule either way, so it's more depending on if it's subjectively more important that it's a hundo, or a shiny. If the IVs were worse, I'd personally lean more towards the hundo, I guess.

High iv shiny is a cooler flex, and I doubt this will see play is mega master
