Just so you know this is also on you(and everyone else in the lobby . As you can jump out and revive your mega and attack the shield again. Sure it’s a little annoying but it could’ve been done
My point exactly. I think alot of people don't realize you can leave the lobby heal your mega and rejoin to try it again if it gets blasted with a charge move when it comes in.
I don’t think it should be! There are people that are clearly trolling. We should share who those people are with each other to ensure safe raiding and not wasting passes.
I’ve seen people that are level 80 being the only person in the lobby without a mega. That just seems intentional to me and that’s not fair to everyone else. It really takes the fun away.
Mind you the mega evolve pokemon doesn’t need to be strong. You just need 10 mega pokemon to break all 10 shields and both a mega charge attack. That’s it. If it dies right after, you’ll still be fine.
No seriously. There were a few times were I pressed ready bc there were 10+ people and 10 megas, looked away for a few seconds, look back, and suddenly there’s 8-9 people with 10 seconds left. Luckily I was fast enough to leave too
There are some people in lobbies that enter without a mega evolved pokemon and wait until the timer hits 30 seconds or less to mega evolve their Pokemon. You should be entering a lobby ALREADY with a mega evolved pokemon to avoid spooking people and them leaving prematurely.
Bc personally, if I don’t see 10 mega evolved pokemon right here by the time the lobby timer hits 10 seconds, I’m leaving.
That just happened to my husband and I. We had a full lobby and one shield left. I’m assuming someone’s mega got knocked out before they could use their charged attack. But they waited until we had 23 seconds left to revive their mega and break the shield. Thankfully we were still able to get the Mewtwo, but we unadded the person we thought it was. (We assumed it was the only person that entered the lobby without a mega and evolved it while in the lobby. Everyone else we’ve always had very successful raids with and this person was a new friend).
My husband and I even went as far as going back to the lobby and reviving our mega to make sure we broke our shields.
Im trying my best not to freak out at the 1 person in raid who doesnt fucking know that if your mega dies before u pop shield u can leave the raid revive it immediately and go back in to pop the shield. STOP.WASTING.PEOPLES.TIME.AND.MONEY.
Agreed. I’ve seen people that wait until the last 10-30 seconds in a lobby to mega evolve. Which ends up spooking people and they leave. Mind you it’s not like megas only last a few minutes. They last HOURS.
993987028100 I have Mega active but also need lots of legends still. My old group mostly has retired from the game and I’m behind on a lot of 5 star raids
One problem I and many others were having, was that regardless of if you put your Mega at the 6th spot, when the shield comes up, the raid will automatically push out your Mega pokemon to break it, which is nice… except for when it’s not. Even while a charged attack was occurring, making the mega pokemon come out insta knocks it out. It wasn’t happening enough for where I was raiding for it to be a major problem… but it was a problem. Edit: I know people are saying you can revive it or back out to do so, but to even have to do that when the game itself forces your hand is just weirdchamp in the first place
I knew it would happen at least once, but damn.
Had 3 remotes saved up from research and all 3 of those raids were lost with 1 shield left... I got the shiny but what's the point of saving remotes if dumbasses can make them useless and void like this... That's a valuable item.
Unfortunately, don’t play. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the game has given out a mega beedrill to everyone in the game. If you still don’t have a mega, then stay out of the raids for the sake of other people that are paying to play.
There are also plenty of events that have transpired all week that allowed you to get a mega Pokemon. So either get one or wait to join a lobby in person with more than 10 players and 10 megas. It is impossible to beat the Mega Mewtwo without 10 megas.
I’m just trying to get one for my 6 year old. We couldn’t get one in the week and I didn’t know he would need one. He’s been dying to get the Mewtwo all week
I would recommend doing some raids to get him a mega prior to joining the raids or waiting until you can get into a lobby in person with more than 10 people/10 megas. It is impossible to beat without at least 10 mega pokemon in the lobby to break all 10 shields. If you don’t not meet these requirements it will be a waste of a pass/link charges for both of you.
