Apple iOS Question Indonesia Pokécoin method
I’m at Indonesia I’ve purchased the $1 pokecoins and waited but it still shows usd once I open the webstore anyone now how to fix that. Also When I use a vpn and I’m not signed into the web store it shows the Indonesia currency but once I sign in it switches back to US, aswell not sure how to fix that.

I’m pointing this out because I feel we may be in the same boat.
It worked once on my main acct and I can no longer do it again. Although when I log into a 2nd account it converts the coins on the web store whether it’s in India, Portugal, Australia, etc with no effort or tricks. I also realized the go store in app on my main acct does not change between countries although my 2nd acct go store will change between countries. Seems like something is not tracking. Maybe the web store flags foreign transactions. I’m hoping it just resets with time…
Would love to know if anyone has found a fix.

I've been trying literally everything to make it work in my main account. With others accounts I can change the store pretty easily, but with this one everything fails.

I have lit said this 2 times in replies, but this is the method I use (its detailed, I wrote myself:3 and reply if problems.
Step 1: uninstall the version of PoGo with the spoofer and install the real one from the app/play store. Step 2: buy the 100 coins option in game in the real app. Step 3: uninstall real PoGo (u can't have it and spoofer PoGo installed at same time, even if u use different device) Step 4: re download the spoofer PoGo Step 5: sign in, and immediately sign back out Step 6: from the Plz sign in Screen, go to ur co ordinates thingy and teleport to -6.262891,106.882229. Step 7: sign into PoGo using Facebook Google or pokemon trainer central options(cannot use Niantic kids or Apple or sign in with Pokemon go options) Step 8:, once ur logged in, ur location should already be in Indonesia, then, keep pokemon go open on ur phone/tablet or whatever, then on separate device, open Webstore and sign into ur account (again with trainer central Google or Facebook only) and prices will be in IDR.

For me the 2 reasons why currency kept switching was because I hadn’t completed any action in India (spinning stops catching pokemon)
And I reset my VPN.
I’m guessing on your situation. I tried this blind following old guides and whatnot. I also used my normal paypal to make the payment.
Lemme know if this works so I can copy paste it to others.

I use this method frequently and works 99% of the time, I do not use a VPN and I use a rooted android. Sign out of the Pokemon Go web store. Log into the game and buy the lowest value item in the in game shop. Sign out of the game and teleport to Indonesia. Log back into the game and wait for Pokemon to spawn so the game registers your location. Then go back to the web store and log in. The currency will have changed to Indonesia. Once you buy something the currency will revert back to your local currency. So you have to repeat the process each time you make a purchase.

i bought the cheapest pokecoin pack in the web store while in indonesia and it didnt change for me im i supposed to buy something in normal pokemon go?

Please read the instructions I have provided and follow them exactly. It works, I have done it at least 100 times.

I do it all the time with brooks Flashman and NextDNS.
Change location to indo
Turn off NextDNS ( so coins appear on app)
Quickly buy 1$ coin pack
Turn on NextDNS make sure didn’t rubberband back
Open webstore and refresh ( if not in indo currency then I’ll quickly turn NextDNS back off and refresh)
After doing that 1 or 2 times it always changes currency.
