Here is my "wannabe" Post-Game Team to Attempt the Content in Pokémon Unbound. Any Suggestion? I'm at Insane Difficulty. Still. Need to do some mining for Bottle Caps :((

Kept up the theme with the rest of this challenge. Tried some other combos but ended up with a hail team and was able to brute force (and save states) my way through the league.

Not planning to go through every battle, because that would be absurd but this really puts the feather in the cap for my challenge. I’ll go over that a bit more in detail as to why I did it the way I did, but everything here can be found on victory road. Some of them are available at different points, but I didn’t use any for gym battles, minus Bergmite in the first gym but I don’t think I even had to use it lol

Had a lot of fun with this, I really feel like insane is more of a puzzle game at times. I plan to do one more post for the final Aklove fight, but that won’t be following the same rules as I’ve done with every other fight in this challenge

I am trying to solo the Insane E4 with Bidoof. I have reached the point where I am considering Double Team + No Retreat + Taunt + an attacking move(for the fairy e4). My bidoof is running eviolite and have a defence boosting sp attack deboosting nature.

So I finally completed Pokemon unbound and loved it, and also loved my team especially Glaceon 🔥 but now what’s next?? What rom is the best to go to now….

Hello! So I was wondering how gaining Evs works exactly. Afaik in main games when you have the XP share on, EVs are shared between all your pokemon. You defeat a litleo, everyone that's illegible to gain xp and evs gains +1 spatk. Does it work the same here? If it does work like that can you disable the XP share? I dont see it in key items anywhere. Im asking just to be sure because I cant find the answer to this online, tho im 80% confident thats how it works. I just dont want to fuck up my EV training yk?

I managed to beat his Mega-Manetric by using mega Megatron as a sacrifice as it has lower health and his Mega Manetric knows flamethrower thus allowing Almighty to chip away at mega Manetric with leech seed giga drain

I complete pokedex and these are all my shinies i got. Tyrant and excadrill are the two I got before shiny charm(I don't bring exca to NG+) and the last 5 are got through mission or gift

Is there a way/website where I can find out what the best natures/ivs/evs and abilities to boost for each Pokemon, I just don’t know how to identify wether a Pokemon is more of a physical or a special attacker , or speedy or what. Is there a good place for me to find that for each Pokemon I want? Or is it just general knowledge I’ll build up

Could have def done a lot more with this team like tailwind choice scarf on piliper since it always got oneshot anyway so at least doing tailwind would have been good and should have prob brought some swift swim pokemon but getting all these pokemon to level 100 bc I accidentally over leveled my primarina was a pain in the ars

everyone recommends dresco trainer house but theres one in dehara too. can this one be used to train evs too?

i assume the trainers give more exp and money so shouldnt this be better?

I'm pretty hard walled by Alice, her mega pinsir is a BIG issue. First of all ive been relying on this game giving you strong fighting types such as hariyama and primeape up until this point which obviously doesn't work on her.

Next I tried faster ice types (i have a near perfect sneasel) with some slower rock types. I tried it with pupitar, boldore, sneasel, minior, pupitar and lairon and no dice. SR breaks sturdy, I dont have enough free turns to defog (nor any defoggers in the first place) and mega pinsir caves my skull in. Prankster murkrow is my best option for preventing SRs

Next I tried it with elektrike but she's just too fast..

It seems like I need bulky resists because outspeeding her isn't especially possible (maybe with a suicide tailwind lead? mega pinsir is still really fast at base though and that only works for 4 turns) but on expert she cheats and is overlevelled with some insane coverage options. Her pinsir has brick break AND rock tomb with 138 attack and doubled speed. Dodrio is also fast, gliscor mandates an ice move to be used on it, crobat also very fast.

I DO have a sticky web near perfect ribombee (the strat up to this point was sticky web then sweep) but well this gym hard counters me. I can tell SR are key but other than that i'm at a loss with how few speed control options I have

If miniors were breedable then maybe? you need perfect IVS and EVS with a speed boosting nature to outspeed her mega pinsir if it's jolly. Kilowattrel would also be great but he's not legal

I looked into weather control but the only pokemon that outspeeds her in weather is Jumpluff.

The solution that i'm thinking of atp is just to breed 6 near perfect gravellers, but that doesn't fix the mega pinsir issue. Tera ghost would make this SO much easier. Also breeding 5 gravellers 1 murkrow would be tedious, annoying and pretty useless outside of this gym

i assumed u could talk to the grandpa and switch happy hour on? but all he says is hes looking for a job even if i switch days

how do i activate the happy hour double coin boost? is that unavailable in insane difficulty?

I just have to celebrate. It's been a GRIND.

So I just got the goggles and was about to head into the great desert and everytime I enter the connecting building it just gets stuck on the all black transition screen. Is my run cooked or is there a way to get around / fix?
