Discussion Rollercoaster test run

Im constructing a Gym and Theme Park and I built this rollercoaster and quite proud of it. I was also thinking of encasing the coaster in a glass shell inside the Gym to "protect" the riders from Battle attacks haha. What are your thoughts? Please excuse the power pole mess above the gym xD

Oh dont worry, this rollercoaster is the most "impressive" thing i think i have ever done lol.. Everything else currently is Pre-fab houses and grass xD

It also feels VERY Nintendo. Like a gym, but its a theme park and a roller coaster by the battle arena? Im shocked it hasn't been done yet.

Honestly, I mostly winged it. I knew the main pieces i wanted, being a Big rise and drop at the start, a tunnel, and a run around inside the gym. Once those pieces existed i just built the rest to fit in the area :)

I know it’s hard to make a “realistic” rollercoaster in a game like pokopia where your options are 90° turns and up or down, but if you’re interested in getting closer, I think you have too many sections of straight flat track. I’d alter those to add more, larger hills.

Maybe something you could do is not straight down, but instead down down down straight straight down down etc. so spice it up a little

My train tracks don't take up that much space because they're split up into many small chests in each station of my giant railway that connects all the different biomes in my cloud island, lol.

Have the mine carts always been able to be connected like this?

Yeah, just place them one after another on the track and they auto connect. There is a maximum though, like 7 or 8 connected together i think

If you have pokemon following you they will ride on the other carts behind you. It's really cute lol

Yes! This is one of my favourite features of the game, I love connecting spaces with the tracks. I only wish they made the tracks able to be painted different colours because white would be amazing looking for roller coasters. At least we can paint the carts 💚

Thank you! This is on Nintendo Switch 2.. I did a video screen capture on the console every 20 seconds or so. The console never overwrites previous timestamps in the capture. So basically i uploaded all 4 clips to the App, and downloaded to my phone. Then put all 4 clips together into one video, and uploaded that here :) Hope this makes sense

I rebuilt some bridges and staircases for my rails to connect in Skylands. And i ran them around the edge of my roads
