(This is a repost since it was taken down due to having a GoFundMe link previously, so just to clarify for the mods this is to just share the story of what happened and asking for advice, and to help others going through situations like these)

Yesterday at around 6:30 PM, our pomeranian was attacked by our neighbors dog through a hole in our shared fence. My mom heard he was in trouble and ran outside to see him stuck in the fence as our neighbors dog was attempting to yank him through a small hole in our fence which caused his leg to get fully ripped off of his body. We immediately rushed Dash (our pomeranian) to the veterinary ER. It was Sunday at the time meaning no surgeons were available and he was held over night at a special care center. We have received an update now being that it’s Monday and he is in surgery and the surgeon has said Dash had a smooth surgery so far but he also has tracheal issues so they have to monitor his breathing. We don’t think there’s anything we can do financially with our neighbors, as they have tried to take all blame away from their side and attempted to lie and say it was not their dog, and that they had their dogs on a walk to me when I walked to their house after dropping Dash off at the ER, though my mom heard the dog barking at the fence and heard them screaming at their dog telling their dog to go back inside. When I initially went to the neighbors house the home owner got in my face and was essentially yelling at me while I was keeping my cool trying to get the facts right and try to figure out a resolution, and eventually the home owner gave me a bag with our pomeranians missing limb in it. I understand they would not want their dog to be put down, but I feel like they should have the decency to at least be honest and offer to help pay for the damages their dog caused rather than lie about the situation. We are just relieved that Dash is okay at the moment, though his life won’t ever be the same. Though we are very traumatized after seeing our pomeranian with an entire limb missing and the fact that our neighbors didn’t take any accountability really sucks. We would appreciate any prayers and support in this time for our little Dash and hope everything turns out okay for him in the end. We have a GoFundMe for Dash, but I can’t post the link on this post but I hope it gets the traction it deserves to help us pay for Dash’s bills. If anyone has any advice for us for a situation like this we would love to hear it!

Edit: We’ve already contacted the police and they have said there’s not much they can do and that we have to talk to animal control and take it the civil route and once we have all of our documents together we’ll more than likely get a resolution to this. I will keep everyone updated on this post on the resolution to this. Thank you to everyone supporting us in this time of need ❤️

Looking for some new chews for my girl! She likes pork chomps and yak chews but has gotten bored. I’m wanting to try the pork chomps munchy sticks, has anyone tried those before? Any other safe/rawhide free chews out there? She is not a fan of collagen chews and we also do not give her real bones per her vets instruction. Thank you! 💕

Hi 👋🏼 My name is Claire (29F and from France), we got a new puppy at home for one week now.

She is Blessy, a pure pomeranian and she is 2 months.

I always had cats but Blessy is my first dog, I really thought I was prepared to welcome this little beauty but I can say after one week I feel a bit overwhelmed especially with the potty training.

So I need some advices and help.

The puppy blues is real !

I started the potty training but it's not super easy. I know she is young and it takes time.

Sometimes she is ok outside and pee / poo (so i give a treat) but sometimes she waits and once at home she pee inside ... I dont really understand. I think she is also scared of the wind.

What do you think about puppy pad ?
