It’s pretty normal to identify things by their closest major city when talking to people who aren’t from the area. This video was made for an international audience so Portland is the most helpful point of reference they could have given it.

I don't know, it's near the capital of the state. Even if Portland is bigger, mentioning Salem still makes more sense. Most people know the biggest city and the capital city, if they are not the same.

This is true in the US, but the Grumps have done shows internationally. Maybe they could have just said Oregon though.

Is it not a little weird for grown men to be going to Enchanted Forest to film, without kids? I'd go again for the nostalgia factor but I feel like you gotta let the kids have their places.

As someone who takes their kids to enchanted forest there’s plenty of room for a couple of goofy adults to have fun too.

In my opinion they make it clear that they're doing it for comic effect so it doesn't bother me.
