Repairing takes much, much longer than breaking. But those who will take this herculean task, will be blamed from day 1, as the lying media will suddenly tell the people the harsh shitty reality the country is in.
What is nearly irreparable IMHO is the international influence and diplomacy: other countries have seen how easy treaties became TP, without any attempt to prevent it. It will cost decades and trillions to just catch up.
Unless Fox News is completely eliminated or regulated to tell the truth, and online propaganda sponsored by foreign powers is removed, there is no chance for a democratic win unless it is a super majority.
