There’s genuinely nothing any president can possibly do to restore America’s relationship with their allies.
Because other countries know that there’s not a single contract or promise any president can make that’ll matter in 4 years time when voters put someone else in the seat who’ll just break everything the previous president spent 4 years fixing.
No country can ever have faith in America again when any promise they make can easily be broken 4 years later.
Yep. It's especially stupid that the recent tariff shenanigans with Canada are, according to our Dear Leader, because our trade deal with Canada "is totally unfair." No one reminded him that he's the one who signed the USMCA in 2019.
Our trading partners can't even be assured that the same guy might renege the deal that he made just a few years prior.
The damage that's been done seems insurmountable. I don't know where you'd even begin.
When America Trumped once the world said, this is bad but now he is gone they will go back to normal and will have learned not to do that again.
When America Trumped a second time we all knew America can never be relied on again. No matter what bad things America did in the past, it was still rational, not anymore.
