This is how Republicans win.

They create short term solutions that create long term problems.

For example: Reduced taxes that end at the end of their term and go above where they previously were for the following 4 years.

Them, when the next guy gets in, the Republicans block anything that fixes the problems they created.

Then the next election cycle, they say the other party was responsible for the problems they created and they get votes back int power.

Rinse, repeat. Works like a charm and their following is too stupid to notice.

1000% I've been telling people this. Repair is going to take a long while and we can't blame the clean up crew.

Bc Biden's stimulus checks weren't EXACTLY that? Lol as if Dems don't do the same thing just for popularity points. I'd argue all day that Dems never fulfil their promises at all in the first place, they are all talk. They sprint rhetoric about creating a utopia then they spend all our tax money enriching their friends. Look no further than every cent of California tax revenue. No railway, homelessness increased, cost of living through the roof. That's Dems right there.

What's crazy is Biden recovered the economy that Trump destroyed even with the stimulus checks that kept the US consumer economy afloat.

How is Trump's economy getting WORSE after Biden had to literally save the US from a global economic disaster AND Trump's tax cuts/rises and still getting blamed for it lmao
