That seems very specific. Was it other crimes and indecencies or just the animal thing? Was this an exception for a specific person or just opening the flood gates to loyalty to Trump is the only criteria?

It was part of a group of other changes, notably buying time with sex workers. From my understanding they're trying to move away from a lot of "automatic disqualification" methods to more dynamic stuff. Now whether it's due to Maga/Trump/whoever wanting to get a few people in that have those issues, or it's just part of the federal government changing their hiring standards to be less automatically disqualified is something I can't really tell you. I just know something similar happened with the Army a few years back where things like ADHD and autism could be considered "pre waivered" to streamline the joining process.
