They'll announce that he had "A sudden and unfortunate turn of bad health and passed away," they will never admit that he's been dead for months and they covered it up.
I suspect he is braindead or something. Propped up on life support, or just alive, but non-functioning.
Because if he was actually dead, these people could be prosecuted for fraud. However, if he is not technically dead, then they get away with it, which sounds like exactly how its going to go.
One thing I don't get: now that it's past the special election deadline, what's the advantage for Republicans here? It's just costing them a vote, right? Are they worried that the law that took the temporary appointment power from the governor would be found unconstitutional?
There are like 40 people who are attached to him that still get paid and have every incentive to cover it up. Plus Republicans don't seem to care much about members of their party actually fulfilling their role and doing their job (in my opinion)
I saw the flags at half staff for Dolly and was briefly touched, but then I thought "Wait, what if it's actually for McConnell? Did they finally say he's dead?"
