Serving for nazis is not a flex.

Where did they say it was a flex?

I swear, there's always that one person. I understand "thinking about alternatives, given the situation", but most the time, it's a strawman.

If I learned anything, I was severely mislead in the gifted and talented track in school to grossly overestimate the average persons capability for logic and reason. I'm almost certain that's about as valid an argument as some people can formulate.

They are smart enough to know the thing they want to point out, or clarify. Yet, they lack the ability to articulate such an argument in any meaningful way.

Agreed. Sometimes (quite often on Reddit) someone will just continue spewing the same nonsense, over and over, and consider that "having a debate".

Or my next favorite thing, on Reddit, someone downvotes an objective fact because they feel personally attacked for their poor behavior/choices.

Some people can't take criticism, even when they're objectively wrong.
