Theory on City with no real evidence whatsoever
Basically I’m just guessing based off their summer transfers. However I think that their window indicates that the verdict will come soon on their allegations, and I think it will just be a fine and transfer ban, no points deductions.
They’ve spent a ridiculous amount this window with Fernandez Anderson the Moroccan and a few others. More than when they used to sign 5 60 mil players that were quality, they are now buying young talents who are seen as future if not currently world class players, best in their positions. Why? Because they need a young stable squad if they’re going to be hit with a transfer ban, they also locked haaland into a longer contract and signed Guehi. I think some of their spending has been callous and motivated by the need to spend now because they might not be able to do so soon.
Again no evidence to back this up but I do think that this window has been more expensive and outrageous than any other city window, especially when they bid 85 mil for gallon (which Liverpool stupidly rejected) and went straight in for ndiaye for 65.
