A few people asked me to try the trilogy with the latest DLSS 5 neural rendering, so... here are the results.

I think the screenshots explain pretty well why this probably isn’t the ideal use case for it.

DLSS 5 can sometimes look decent in games that already have a solid visual baseline, that is detailed textures and reasonably complex models. The trilogy’s original assets are way too low detail for the neural rendering to work with. There’s only so much it can infer from textures and models this old.

So instead of a magical remaster that some were hoping for, you get whatever cursed alternate dimension this is.

Does anyone know how to do it? No matter what I do, I always die. I don't even have the time to turn around. The tiles fall immediately, and there are blades underneath.

Some more work I've made over the weekend. Probably too big of a word to call it a remastered area hah. Still, it looks quite nice with DLSS 4.5 RR. As always, this is a work in progress, so not everything is final/working (Prince and cloth animations/physics are awkward, grass looks ugly too). Textures upscaled with AI. Models from sketchfab. Again, treat this as a technical preview of what's possible with RTX Remix rather than final art direction or a playable mod.

Hello!
I need some help with this rope swing in The Underground Reservoir.
I can't angle the swing towards the next rope bucket, because from the locked camera angle its forward-right, and I can only get it to swing front-back and left-right, which misses. I can get it to swing wildly, but can't get it to aim right at it, so when I jump, I jump the the side and miss it.

I've watched a few videos on Youtube and they all seem to be able to swing in the right direction, so I am losing my mind not being able to figure it out.

(For the second photo, I can't get it to swing in the green arrows directions, only in the red arrows direction.)

Edit: Did it. Just restarted the game and somehow did it.

I am extremely confused. I defeated Shahdee, but somehow backtracked to this point after the Dahaka chase and my first encounter with the masked man. Now, I don't know where to go because if I just follow the path, it takes me to the present where the Dahaka chase happened, but that area is already broken.

Lost some progress thanks to this middle tower section bug so now I have to do this section from the fountain and that damn final life upgrade all over again.

Press O - Orbit mode is just a fun little mode to let you pan around, you can use the mouse wheel to zoom out as well.

Other controls are the same as the original.

When you die, just press Enter to respawn.

With my tool you can modify OVA variables and activate internal and hidden functions of the whole PoP trilogy, the OVA cheats variable on the WW demo is 21, on Sands of Time full game it's the same as the PC version, variable 22, in the SoT demo it was instead 8, on WW and T2T retail I'm still looking for it

I need help here please! I keep restarting this part of the game but the door is still not opening.

Was very surprised to see this classic getting a modern update on GOG, amazing! However it won't launch with my Reshade anymore... Tried a few workarounds (changing the .dll file names) but no luck. There are a lot of new wrapper dlls, and I'm not too savvy with that kind of thing. Anyone got a working solution, and if there isn't, is it possible to go back to the older version as I don't benefit from the higher frames and camera tweaks?

Good morning, everyone. I recently bought *Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time* on GOG so I could take advantage of the new game preservation settings. I play on a 21:9 ultrawide monitor at 3440x1440. What are the best settings to keep the aspect ratio as close as possible to the original?

Secondly, is there an existing file that would let me play with a controller? Because mapping the controls manually is a hell.

I am loving Sands Of Time. It’s living up to its hype. The way The Prince jumps over his foes, striking them down while in the air… that is such a neat combat mechanic.

I have played The Lost Crown and Rogue Prince, both on my PS5. I posted in here a while back, discussing PoP (2008) and Forgotten Sands, since I love PS3 and wanted to get some PoP games for that console. But I hadn’t played the Sands trilogy yet. Glad I went ahead and downloaded it from the PS Store on my PS3 before the store disappears next year. 💔
