Do leetcode while the AI does the actual work

So do the most meaningless, unfun form of programming that gives you zero relevant job or personal skills and only serves to help pass tech interviews… while you’re already employed?

Jesus Christ this is the most student-brained take I’ve ever seen. The moment I accept an offer letter is when I never want to see the wretched website known as le*tcode again until such time as I decide to get a new job.

Couldn’t imagine a more miserable existence. Am I the only one here who’s happily employed, actually likes doing the job, and has been in industry out of school for more than 3 years?

I have 5 yoe and have worked on a variety of projects at a large company you know about.

I was half joking about leetcode, but unironically effective usage of AI is a job relevant skill now. It depends what exactly you're working on, but not using AI in some form is often just being slow for fun, and others who do make use of it will run circles around you when it comes to completing tasks.

Imo keep the fun for personal projects, take advantage of what will make you more marketable and effective at work. I guarantee there's a way you can make use of LLMs to speed up your work
