Halflings instead of creatures? West Freeport

Is this an event? All creatures except orcs seem to be halflings gnomes. I zoned out and in, same same.

I don't think those are halflings. It clearly says they are a snake, bat, and a skeleton. And a rat.

They're female Gnomes and look like a Necro who is in our guild leveling there/collecting bone chips.
