I am learning Japanese, and I want to use Project Sekai for immersion. But I am not sure if the ways the characters talk are natural. Emu definitely doesn't talk in a normal way, but Kanade seems to speak Japanese straight out of a text book. So I guess it depends on the character?

I just realized I’ve never shared my new unit AU on Reddit, so thought I would! It’s basically a swap unit AU but instead of swapping units, there are completely new units (though most of them can be seen as a fix between two canon units).

Here’s some info on the groups!

Spotlight+Moonlight/S+M: A theater troupe that post their shows through an online channel. They preform at a private indoor theater hidden in a small alleyway. In addition to all being singers and actors, Tsukasa is the costume designer, Ena makes props and backdrops, Nene handles the technology, and Kanade writes the songs for the shows. Their songs are either circus/carnival themed or jazzy/classic show-tune-like. Untitled song would be Circus Panic.

Rose~In Bloom/R~B: A floral group of performers with a strong feminine theme. Their SEKAI is a large rose garden with a pretty gazebo in the middle. Their members encourage their audience to love who they truly are and not to pretend to be someone they aren’t. Their songs range quite widely, but usually have a Jirai Kei theme or romantic theme. Untitled song would be Hana Ni Kaze.

OUR UNSTOPPABLE FUTURE: Futuristic performers who care based off of the cyberpunk style. They perform off street corners and are known for their talented singing and high-tech special effects (made by Rui). They often sing against conformity and promote being your own person. Their songs are synth/techno style. Untitled song would be Cyberpunk Dead Boy.

Lucky! Dreaming! Dance Team: Energetic, lively performers known for their joyful tunes and skilled choreography. They inspire hope and give people the chance to be childish again. Candy, pastel colors, and sky imagery are often involved in their performances. Their songs have a cheerful, poppy feel. Untitled song would be Stardust Medley.

Bittersweet*Melodies: A group of classical musicians whose songs give a melancholic feel. Their style is refined and elegant with strong emotions flowing out of their instruments and microphones. They often play at formal events and concert halls. They play songs with harp, piano, and violin aspects. Untitled song would be Shinkai Shoujo.

Early game nenes voice felt a lot higher and "cuter" and i think it was really nice as well. But i feel like recently her voice has become deeper and more mature sounding and i think it sounds amazing, especially in Yuke. Also it feels a lot more distinct. This is gonna sound really weird but i feel like her newer voice kind of has an underwater quality to it? In a good way yk. Ok i cant explain it but its really unique and i just love nenes voice, one of my fav vocals in the game
