Discussion Vinyl master
To those that have the vinyl, have you noticed any distinct differences in the master? I just got my hands on my copy from Bandcamp, and immediately thought that the music sounds more bleak. For instance, I’m not a huge fan of The Redline, but it has a much more sinister tone that I really like. Even the ‘heroic’ songs feel more futile.

I haven't opened my black vinyl, but I was waiting on the red vinyl, and then trying to decide which one actually wanna open. Some of it might just be that there's a little bit of a wider variety in the tone or potentially the extra noise from vinyl. Could add a little bit more of like an uneasy feel and not feel as antiseptic as the digital file is.

Maybe a correlation between Dystopia and the sound of vinyl? With all the works in the genre written in the 70s and 80s, it wouldn’t surprise me if there was a subconscious bias towards that.

Would this be in relation to the surround sound mixing they did? From memory they did work to have the sounds playing in 3D space if you have the right speaker setup (e.g: playing it in a movie theatre)
Maybe it translated oddly
