I may have gotten a few of the words wrong, but that was the message played before the Act 3 performance in Nashville
Which is itself an acknowledgment, but clearly no real timeline for its release

Yeah there's no way they do a whole ARG that ends with "this isn't how it ends" or however it as
And a following act isn't a thing they are planning. And They wouldn't go for something like that after such a long time between act 2 and 3, if they didn't plan on doing it sooner rather then later.
Just... you know...
give them some time to rest and make good art

The two decoder keys in the libretto are literally A3 (in the decoded message on page 1's illustration) and P2 (the conspicuous page numbers.
I'm on team "it is probably pretty far along, and it will be here within the next few years."

It being far along doesn't mean it'll be soon, though. I heard 3, maybe 4 songs from Act 3 in 2020 and we were still 6 years out.
I think it's probably far along too, but after the last wait, I'm not killing myself by establishing a timeline.

Well we have the "January 6/7" and "part 2" calendar/clock display from the Nashville show. The days of the week from the Jan. 6/Jan. 7 match with 2027, so personally I'm not really expecting much besides hints and teases until at least that date. (Based on what I could find, the next earliest possibility of a Wed Jan 6 is 2038. So maybe that is more in line based on the last wait 😆)

There was a lot going on in 2020-2022 that made it difficult for them to be in studio and working on the album, and then they probably had touring obligations to fulfill that further impacted it.

It hasn't even been three months since the term "Act 3 Part 2" was actually uttered by them. We went 16 years in between Acts 2 and 3. Have patience.

Dr. Light’s Eulogy and The Fight are undoubtedly from A3P2. They also did several covers in Dallas that are not in The Cover Up, so it is possible they are planning a second cover album (pure speculation but god, I hope so). But yeah, part 1 was just released. How many band release albums on right on top of the other? Keeping in mind they are not with a major label and are generally pretty broke as a band. They need the money to be able to produce it, I’m sure that played a role in the delay of Part 1. They also announced they will be trying to do a tour. I would not expect part 2 to be released before that happens, and I heard that a tour will not likely be until next year. So, patience. Something more will come, there were clues eluding to that (the notebook Light left behind in his workshop and whatever he put in the basement of the tower, MegaMan maken’t in time). They aren’t ending the story with a surrender and creaking rope, so just hang in there. If it’s another 17 years, then we can bitch. Hell, after 5 years, you can come back with complaints.
Good art takes time, and these folks make excellent art.

Act 3 only come out 9 months ago man , let them promote and make some cash money on that first. Sure act 3 2 will get announced when they are ready. In the mean time enjoy the teasers and mind games.
